An alpha male that is known to beat on girls he dates. Its not the football player thing that is confusing, it's the guy who beats women thing I can't follow.

There's really nothing less "alpha" than beating on women. It takes a really pathetic, insecure, weak-minded man to beat on women. That's nothing more than a loser trying to show everyone he's "alpha."
