Remember they don't make it to the NFL though or they declare instead of being a grad transfer. Bottom line some do some don't, but to say none are out there is down right silly. cough cough Adrian Colbert and Dee Delany from our hurricanes in the NFL.

OK if Im an elite player from the city and grew up with my parents struggling and im an injury away from my career being over. If I have people offering me money to help my mom and dad no matter how much I love Miami Iove my parents more so I would take the bag to help them out. Its never guaranteed that u will ever see that again.

Also who the **** is talking about Canes in the NFL, we dont put out the same quality of player now its not even close.

I'll give him the year and see how 2020 class unfolds, this is just my first gripe and I'll give him the credit if he deserves it. I dont want to be right but this is Miami where they put the wool over the fans eyes so they cant see the truth. Im not falling for that **** anymore. Im tired on jumping on the bandwagon for guys that arent doing anything, show me first

Those canes are the grad transfers that you mentioned don't make it to the NFL remember. 2 with us and 1 that transferred from us. You basically said that they either leave early or they trash, lol.

U really think that Gus is going to be a pro bowl type kid? Or the other two u mentioned? Like an old school Miami player super talented? Thats a jag.....just another guy

Basically Miami is putting in players we wont hear about in 3-5 years, do I exaggerate? YES
But we are no where near putting in the same quality of player we used to under Butch or even before that where we were putting in Hall Of Fame caliber guys

Well you are doing exactly what you just said again over exaggerating. Did we put some greats in the league back in the day yes did we put some jags in as well yes. **** we had has some hurricane greats and college football greats that did nothing in the NFL like Ken Dorsey, Gino Torretta (Hesiman lol), Bret Romberg, Alonzo Highsmith, Phillip Buchannon and the list goes on.

Being a great at UM doesn't mean automatic success when you get to the NFL and further more UM has no control over how successful or what type of player they will become in the league. Never have and never will. Our main concern should be if a player can help UM be great and if they can be great at UM all the rest that, about if they will be an all time great or not in the league is an extra benefit. I'm sure we would love for all of all players to be great in the league and end up being hall of famers for the publicity that it would bring alone. But UM is the entity that we should be rooting for first and every decision should be about if it can help UM become great.

Following our players and what they do in the NFL is and should be secondary.

What ever Gus or Delany or Colbert become in the NFL is secondary all I know is that they played at UM and tried to help us be great and the other left as grad transfer because he had talent and could play.

I told you I'm with you on most topics big dog! The situation is what it is right now, it could change later but right now we have to deal with it the best way we can for now.

Lmao!! Right parents with good morals and values that will turn down bags. FROM SOUTH FLORIDA. the hood, the ghettos oF liberty city and such. Lmao. Shows how out of touch with reality you are. Lemme tell u something Thotty McThot , Duke Johnson ain’t walking through that door . Lingard was a rare anomaly and even Lamar Miller was broken off a little bit. We had a job lined up for Alex Collins mama and then the Walton family upped that bag and the rest is history. Yeah there are more factors at play than just bags, but to downplay such is jus dumb.
