Never been a fan of him so I haven't sold out. His record is awful and I've done some simple research and went to Oregons boards and see they complain about the exact same things we do with Manny. Playing down to opponents, Stubborn with his roster, Undisciplined, Bad Coaching decisions and clock management. And they complain the offense is predictable. We already have that right now. But hopefully Mario can recruit a little bit better? No thank you..

What people don't get is that Mario to the U is a done deal. All he was trying to do yesterday is get himself fired so that we wouldn't have to pay a buyout.

In fact after the game he grabbed Phil Knight's daughters *** and I hear he was wearing an Adidas suit today around campus.

His firing is imminent last I checked. Grabbing Phil Knight's daughter's *** is one thing but the adidas suit was the last nail in his coffin 🤣🤣🤣

"Why would Mario leave a playoff team and all those resources at a tier 1 school like Oregon for a rebuild at UM, Oregon will top any offer UM makes. Mario ain't coming. Zero chance."

Has turned into

"Oregon fans are f#cking livid that they have seen Cristobal blow games he shouldn't lose for the last three seasons, he blew his chance at the playoffs and got his face kicked in by a barely ranked team, and we are lucky Ducks fans are ready to wash their hands of him and he'll want to get out while his still has leverage. Hooray he's ours. "

Went 4-7 last year after taking over a failed regime from Joe Moorhead. Guess who Mario's OC is? 🤣

But aside from that, he's won 11+ games at the two armpits of college football that are Texas Tech and Wazzu (and both programs have been mess since he left). Since taking over Miss State he's beaten 6 ranked teams.

Currently, Miss. State is #21 in total offense AND total defense. Lane's O is top 5 but his defense is like #100 in the nation--worst than Manny's even.

Mario's squad is #48 in total offense and #58 in total defense. He went 4-3 just last year. Nothing special. (OK he somehow beat a playoff team this year I'll give you that).

It's true that Leach's teams tend to lose to at least one vastly inferior opponent each season. But he hasn't had much to work with talent-wise. In other words, the talent-level on his teams was closer in distance to those inferior schools than it would be at a top program. So it remains to be seen whether he would have those same issues at a real contender like Miami.

I think you have half right. It's not that the fan base has flipped. The fan base is split. You had Mario detractors before the losses to Utah pointing to other bad losses in previous years. Those fans were quieted by the Mario supporters who pointed to the PAC-12 conference championships, recruiting, win over OSU, and CFP ranking. Now that the dust has settled, the detractors are out and loud while the Mario supporters have been quieted.
