You don't think it's just a coincidence we tend to do better versus a specific style of offense?

I just tend to think that Golden or D'Onofrio, whoever runs the defense, tends to think "Let's defend the pass then run."

They probably don't think "let's defend the pass then the run," but they think the defense has a "fill" guy allocated even if it's a Safety 10 yards deep trying to fill the alley on a downhill RB. Like we've all said countless times, in theory, they're not that off. In real life, if you're even, you're losing.
