Another DC name I'd like an opinion on

I don't mean to thread jack, but since we are talking potential DCs......what about Paul Rhoads?. He was a DC in the SEC before taking the Iowa State job.....his kids always seemed to play hard and he's recruited Florida.....just a thought..

Franchise and I chatted about him many threads ago.
Lots of good coaches from both sides of the ball have worked under him too, including
Tom Herman, so he's a good football guy who would be a valuable asset to staff.

He is the defensive version of Indiana's Kevin Wilson: solid coaches working at schools that
are never going to win much.

I admit that I don't know anything about his philosophy. Is he a 4-3 guy? Just looking at the scores of his games this year at Iowa State, they didn't really allow a lot of points. As far as I know, he hasn't taken a job and might be available..
