Another Butch Davis thread I DONT CARE!!

For those who say Butch has no shot.

Remember once Golden is fired this year or next no one we target will take the job. The AD might "think" they could do better then Butch but once reality sinks that no big name or successful former HCs want the job he start looking awfully good.

Some OC from a Mountain West conference or Butch Davis? Also coming off a 5-7 next season the important people at UM who do "care" are gonna be rustled. Emotion may previal and Davis could be given a second shot.

He was on the radio yesterday basically talking about how much he loved coaching here. Compare that to our current coach who literally hates all of us and The U. AG wants to get fired so bad and get his money and run but the school gonna make him come to work. This situation is so pathetic and sad.

Hopefully when The U p2 drops it'll light a fire under someones ***. Who am I kidding, golden gets fired and these ******* idiots will probably hire Steve adazio
 
If you look at the losers UF and UN got stuck with, I start to think Butch has a shot. Certainly he is vastly superior football choice to either and in class of his own on the recruiting side. The only question is if administration can get pass whatever past feelings and ncaa stuff is in his way. For me, they should remember that Butch Davis saved their sorry a...es from the last ncaa scandal that the administration caused. Nobody deserves a shot more than Butch.

Butch might be the only one that can overcome the stupidity, ignorance and arrogance of the administration. BRING BUTCH AND THE U BACK!!

Plus he can be had for a discount. He can start tomorrow thus saving and enhancing the recruiting class. The fan base would be all in and reenergized. It makes way to much sense to actually happen.

No school would ever give an unproven coach a 5 year extension on his brand new contract before the first play either. Unless, they were stupid and really desperate. Our administration has proven it is more than capable of being both. We keep up the pressure and they will fold. As much I hate seeing Al walk off with all the unearned money, the drain will give Butch's "I'll take it at any price attitude" their one chance to get quality at discount. Never side will have leverage and administration might be force to do the one thing they have avoided for 15 years, hirer a decent coach.

I always thought game day coaching was Butch's one weakness, but Al has given me a whole new outlook on that. Butch is king of adjustments compared to Al who makes Giant Pandas' dietary variety look good.
 
We can scape goat Butch for the academic fraud stuff all we want but NC had been doing this LONG before Butch came around. He just the person who happened to be in charge when it was found out about. The one basketball player who was interviewed so he was taking phony courses in 2005 three years before Butch even got to NC.

Plus all schools take it easy on athletes in big time sports. The whole thing is riduclous.

And Butch told his UNC players.."IF you want an education go to Harvard"..The BAGGAGE of costing the UNC Chancellor, President and AD their jobs isn't just called BAGGAGE , It's cause for pause for any university to hire him....If he walks on water why has no one hired him as a coach for the last three years? Sooner or later this has got to sink in for all the guys who want him back...

If Butch has that kind of power, we should hire him to get rid of our dead weight.

Butch underwent eight different investigations at UNC. Cleared from every single one.

Even took some 300 pages plus of his phone records - not one contact with any of the rule breakers - while their phone records sunk their asses.

Butch is clean.

But I want some folks who apparently never looked into what actually happened, and just repeat crap they heard from someone who had a friend who overheard a cousin of a ******.
