Another Berrios thread...

once again, the topic is titled "another Berrios thread". if someone besides you hijacked the thread and turned it into a leadership thread, they and you should start your own thread ... once again, Berrios will play in the show next year and you will still be hijacking threads
A thread is like a conversation that meanders but i doubt you have conversations often because you sound like a whiny c#nt.

Berrios is a great Cane. I still feel he was underutilized here at UM. IMO, his best football is still in front of him...

Was at the game (ughh). Our seats were right behind the bench (about the 40yd line 5th row), and my son and I watched the Canes on the sidelines. Rosier, Thomas, Harley, etc. just sat on the bench all night like a bunch of mopes. Berrios paced the sidelines and kept coming back to the guys sitting trying to get them up and into the game, but they just sat there. In the 3rd quarter, he gave up trying to talk to them and stood off by himself. For the rest of the game he stood by himself on the sideline with his helmet, looking like he was dying to get back in, while the rest of the offensive skill players looked like they quit. At the end of the game he was kneeling on the sideline by himself- looked he wanted nothing to do with the other guys.

He is a true Cane. UM greatness was made by 2-3 star guys who came in and played over their heads. I would love to have a team of guys who play like Berrios.

This is absolutely true. I was sitting in Sec 131 (right behind the Canes bench) and I saw the same thing. I did see that Bandy was trying to get back into the game. He was (trying) jogging up and down the sideline; trying to get loose. He looked upset that he wasn't in there. Bandy was talking to the LBs and DBs trying to get them fired up. Bandy is a stud and will be on of our great leaders the next 2/3 years.

We will miss Berrios.

Saw the same from 132. Braxton will always be remembered as one of the catalysts to getting this train back on the rails. He came here and recruited others when many had no interest. A true CANE. Will always be one of my favorites. Bandy is the future.

Braxton has definitely become one of my favorite Canes of all time. He’s selfless and took advantage of his time here both athletically and academically. Great role model for the kids. Hope he has a monster last game and wish this kid nothing but luck in the league #dontyoueverdisrepecttheU

There's a reason he was beside Richt for postgame interviews. I think more than the fans will be missing him next year.

Hard to lead when you’re not that good.

Leaders need to typically be your better players.

Yeah. Most of the time, but not all the time, leaders of the pack have to be the ALPHA DOG and all that. They should have that Type A personality and what not. hUh.

They say a picture says a thousand and one words. Man, the kid is from Carolina Blue, yet he probably bleeds the Orange and Green more than HALF of the Cane players from Florida and South Florida! Go figure.

This was my fear of what would happen if we just got stomped out by Clemson. If some guys would just quit and mope. The season is long a taxing and playing 12 games in a row is rough.

Maybe this break from each other will do a lot for them. Maybe it won't. I am fearful some guys have mailed it in, hope I'm wrong because a 10-2 season with an Orange Bowl victory over a 12-1 team is better than anyone on this board could he ever seen in their wet dreams. Just not sure the players see it that way.

I don't thing the break will do the players any good from a PYSCHOLOGICAL standpoint and what not. Perhaps they ' cashed in their ticket ' on the season. OUCH! Matter of fact, I absolutely believe Miami LOST that magical mojo after that SHOCKING lost to lowly Pittsburg. And once they got down three TD's, most of the players just went through the motions and wanted the game to end. Enter mainly the OFFENSE!! Of course, Berrios was the lone wolf exception to the rule, and most of the players on defense.

This is also on the QB. He's been moping since the Pitt game. Rather than get his players riled up. This is BS and will stop once Perry takes over the reigns. We need a real leader at QB that's vocal.

You're basing that on what?

Haven't U heard the news today. Miami's young savior, Perry, is absolutely TERRIBLE at ' reading defenses! ' Heck, U good argue that he's worst than # 12. Ouch.

Trump?

Rosier's leadership skills are lacking.

... as they should be considering he was a 3-star out of Alabama who was never supposed to be a legit starting option for Miami. Kaaya was expected through 2017 and next year set to be the N'Kosi Perry show. Rosier was set to be a back up, but depth issues made him the guy this year. So be it.

Great pic, thanks for sharing that. This kid has caught a lot of flack from some Cane fans the last couple of years, but he is going to be sorely missed on and off the field next season.

Berrios had a great senior year. he played with heart and passion. He's probably the best example on the roster of why not to give up on guys until they've played four years. Admittedly, I though he was just another great white hype after three nondescript seasons but he proved me wrong with consistent playmaking as a senior. I hope he gets a shot in the NFL.

Nothing but respect... He'll probably go down in my top 5 wr @ UM of all time. He has that Santana Moss attitude when he helped turn UM around...

He will be missed. Disappointing to hear some of the guys seemed to not care near as much

What does any of that have to do with his leadership skills? You can be lacking in physical skills and still be a great leader. As a matter of fact, the great leaders of the world will admit that they didn't necessarily have the greatest technical skills in their field.

Rosier is behind in both areas.

i said it way back when the qb competition was still open, but a huge reason why richt didn't want rosier to start is because no one on the team liked or respected him. he's a ****y *******. one of my (now graduated) employees was on the student football staff at the end of golden and the beginning of richt and was shocked that it was even a possibility that rosier would see the field.
