Was at the game (ughh). Our seats were right behind the bench (about the 40yd line 5th row), and my son and I watched the Canes on the sidelines. Rosier, Thomas, Harley, etc. just sat on the bench all night like a bunch of mopes. Berrios paced the sidelines and kept coming back to the guys sitting trying to get them up and into the game, but they just sat there. In the 3rd quarter, he gave up trying to talk to them and stood off by himself. For the rest of the game he stood by himself on the sideline with his helmet, looking like he was dying to get back in, while the rest of the offensive skill players looked like they quit. At the end of the game he was kneeling on the sideline by himself- looked he wanted nothing to do with the other guys.

He is a true Cane. UM greatness was made by 2-3 star guys who came in and played over their heads. I would love to have a team of guys who play like Berrios.

This is also on the QB. He's been moping since the Pitt game. Rather than get his players riled up. This is BS and will stop once Perry takes over the reigns. We need a real leader at QB that's vocal.

This was my fear of what would happen if we just got stomped out by Clemson. If some guys would just quit and mope. The season is long a taxing and playing 12 games in a row is rough.

Maybe this break from each other will do a lot for them. Maybe it won't. I am fearful some guys have mailed it in, hope I'm wrong because a 10-2 season with an Orange Bowl victory over a 12-1 team is better than anyone on this board could he ever seen in their wet dreams. Just not sure the players see it that way.

Ni99a was well known around the recruiting circuit

Also u would give up talking to them too if your QB cant back it up and make throws

The kid plays hard and gives it his all. Went vertical on the seam route with taller DBs all around him and almost came up with the ball. Looked like Rosier was late on the throw. Went prone on the deep ball that Rosier overthrew. He was in his home state and the offense laid an egg. Had to kill a competitor like Berrios.
He will be missed. Outstanding senior season.

This is absolutely true. I was sitting in Sec 131 (right behind the Canes bench) and I saw the same thing. I did see that Bandy was trying to get back into the game. He was (trying) jogging up and down the sideline; trying to get loose. He looked upset that he wasn't in there. Bandy was talking to the LBs and DBs trying to get them fired up. Bandy is a stud and will be on of our great leaders the next 2/3 years.

We will miss Berrios.

i saw the same thing. rosier is emotionless, much like kaaya. berrios cemented his UM legacy. love the kid

Sorry but when your QB can't hit wide open receivers over and over and ******* over again, the receivers will lose faith and become mopes. JT had a rough game but the kid runs routes hard and has been open all season with only a few receptions to show for. Rosier gave us all he had but unfortunately he's not very talented. It is what it is.

1st, wouldn't give up because QB can't make throws. Would give up if my teammates acted like they didn't care.

2nd, as far as stars, Berrios was a 4 star. I'm talking about the attitude he has. For every 4 star UM had in the past, we had twice as many Albert Bentleys, Bernard Clarks, and others who were lightly recruited but balled out at UM, and a lot of it was because of their toughness.

I would take Berrios as special teams coach next year in a heartbeat. Smart, tough, and passionate. You have respect a guy that has literally always done what he set his mind to do.

//Kidding, but seriously...maybe...

Add Deejay Dallas to the true Cane list. Kid is going to be a great leader for years to come. Same with Bandy. Same with Amari Carter.

Rosier was tired of pretending to be a good QB. The WRs were tired of being missed since September. Coaches were tired of playing handicapped.

If we had a QB like Baker Mayfield... No one could stop us... No one, **** not having enough depth... If Rosier made this a competitive game we could have came out on top... I've seen teams with far less talent do more damage just by having a competent/competitive QB. People say the defense stunk it up, but the way I see it when you can't sustain a drive and constantly go 3 and out and have turnovers (offense) then you will lose. Do we roll with Nkosi in the BOWL game or wait till next year. I'd hate to take a loss in the bowl game due to the lack of good QB play!

Berrios is a killer. Who do you think takes his place as the "heart" of the offense when he leaves? Maybe Deejay if he stays on offense?
