What is with this kid? Thought he went to the BBQ and walked away feeling good about his place with the staff.

Nobody has a clue. My unprofessional take is he is am immature kid who contradicts himself and is not ready for college which makes sense because he is in HS. The issues with his "commitment" and his "recruitment" have been debated to death.

We hear one thing one day, another thing the next day.
 
Or.. The staff has flipped on him.. The kid seems like he wants to be All Cane.. but it's hard when you can't even get in touch with coaches. Wish the kid the best wherever he goes.

Alin never reaffirmed his commitment at the BBQ. Someone made that story up, there wasnt a source to validate that claim. He also said he never got a chance to talk to the coaches at the BBQ.

He won't end up in the class. However, when he committed, he had a real offer. He was Cristobal's guy. Cristobal left, and Coley pursued two other targets. If the staff wanted to keep him, they would be remaining consistent contact with him.

I would still take him over Rosier, but I'll trust Coley's judgement on this one. Kid should just make it official and de-commit.

Exactly, our fans will jump on anything that will make someone else look bad. It appears he wants to be a Cane but our coaches dont want him and have not been contact with him. He is stilling holding out hope, but the writing on the wall has become very clear. This past spring it was hard to figure out what exactly was going on, as it appeared through orange and green glasses it seemed that Alin was ******** us around but it was actually the opposite.
