Jake Collins - Hudl

Jake Collis is a Safety from Park Vista. Listed at 6-2/190. Game film shows a hard hitter, with long speed and closing speed ,creates turnovers and is a good special teams player. I remember Marques Gayot was from here before the injury caused him to cease playing.

If this kid redshirts or EE,he could be a great pickup.Really gets downhill!

At the 2:22 mark of the film he comes from way behind to catch the RB who is putting distance on all the other DBs. Shows his long speed. Kid could weight 210 as a safety no problem. Carolcity, I hope you do not mind but I sent it into Banda as I have his private email. I gave you credit.

This kid is already big and has a non stop motor, causes turnovers, hands like a WR, is fast and hits like a real safety.

Randy Russel, who has been mentioned frequently of Carol City is not only extremely physical but a sprinter on the track team.

In addition to, a 2019 guy at Pace who is also a track guy the hammers people.
Kamryn Giles - Hudl

Some real hitters that can run coming through the pipeline in the future

Russell is my dude. He's the quintessential Cane. A real body snatcher.

My only question about him was speed, but if you're telling me he's a pretty good sprinter then he's a must get. If we don't sign him I quit.

This past season in track 2nd fastest guy at CCH in the 200m and this is his first season in HS running track--22.72 ran into a headwind of 6 mph. National elite standard for HS is 22.00. This time of 22.72 into that head wind is about a 22.46 into no head wind using the 200m head wind calculator so he is getting close.

9.place 11gr Randy Russell 22.72 (-2.6mps/-6mph) Miami Carol City Sr Greater Miami Athletic Conference North Qualifier... 2016-03-09

Good initiative. I'd like to see some of these under the radar kids that could potentially blow up be placed before this staff has to play catch up.

After watching States I'm all in on Randy Russell. Remember it's important that kids are also track fast, but they don't have to be the fastest sprinters, just be very fast for football. I'm also a Gurvin Hall fan since the kid seems all in on The U, that's a more important trait of a top recruit. It's also a sign more top SoFl recruits feeling The U.

Hear where thsi kid is up to about 200 lbs. Another 2018 class talent as a DB.

He's definitely 200 lbs. maybe 205 right now. I've said it before on here that he's got some growing left to do and his dad is a VERY big man(IMO about 6'4", 6'5" with a build that Coach Kool looks for in a 3 tech) so Will LB isn't out of the question. Macho's 6'0" already, if he hits another round of growth as he likely will, He could be 6'1", 6'2" maybe 215-220 when he hits college. At the very least he's gonna have imposing size for a SS/Rover.

My niece goes to park vista and I live 10 minutes from the school. Gonna be checking this kid out sometime this season coming...

This Collins kid is up to 200 lbs. He can run and tackles hard. Makes big returns on picks.

Just wanna say...how awesome this is that our fan base is doing so much to benefit our "movement"!! As our coaching staff has quite a platefull,.. There's no way they can set through hours n hours of game film, and hurdle highlites,. Looking for the diamond in the rough,.. Or the unnoticed stud, but some of our true diehard fans can!! I don't know how other fanbases work (nor do I care),..but I love the way this group hustles it! Kudos Cane Fans!!!!
