ABC assigned Bob Wischusen and Brock Huard to Friday’s UM-at-Pittsburgh game at noon.

I don't think anyone but maybe Gilmore is anti-Canes among announcers this year.
I'm sure people will throw out names, but I think Pastor Richt neutralizes a lot of criticism.

The networks certainly are benefiting from our new prominence.
 
You know the announcers will be boosting PITT all they can to stay in so people will stay tuned.
 
HUard is localish where I am and does a local nfl critique each week which I no longer listen to, but he knows his football. i realize some cane fans cant overcome their paranoia, but if you want to know some stuff about the game, listen to BH.

A Canes win puts the ACC in a great po$ition.

Having ACC refs is MUCH more important to any talking head assigned to the game.

Turn down the volume and enjoy!

GREAT weather for this time of year in Pittsburgh....everything is lining up.

I think he was trying to say, if you know nothing about football you can listen, but if you know the game, why bother.

I agree. He knows his stuff. Very insight. I like listening to him He was spot on pointing out coaching mistakess during during Golden's period
 
Horrible...Bob Wischusen is a NYC guy that also calls games for the NY Jets and fills in for the Knicks and Rangers. I'm sure he knows nothing about the Canes this season. They will be gushing over Pitt. salty.webp

He called the Miami/Cuse game and did a couple of other ACC games this year (NCSt/BC, UNC/ND), I'm sure he's pretty aware of what the team is doing.

I mean who isn't at this point?

Huard sucks though, that remains the same.

do you guys watch other sporting events?

announcers always want to call a major upset, it's just the nature. they really don't enjoy a blowout (Even herbie said this on the ND game)
 
You guys are reaching. You dont think ABC and anyone who has a love for college football doesn't want to see #2 UM vs #3 Clemson on a neutral field next Sat night at 8pm for all the marbles?? Any blatant and public hate went out the window after we beat ND. Now people just want to see great games. And a great game has UM in it one way or the other..
 
While not a fan of Brock Huard, I can't recall thinking he was biased against Miami. He's simply unmemorable to me.

Unlike that ******* Joe Tessitore, who you'd have thought was UVA's AD masquerading in disguise as an announcer last week.
 
I thought Huard did pretty well in the last Miami game he called. Thought he was neutral with the comments and offered some good insight at times.

It seems like he was just the QB at Washington. But it's probably been about 15 years since he was there.
