Anez Cooper's Transformation

It's nice to see a kid put in the work and have the commitment early in his career and not waiting until their senior year to do it.

Crazy how a few SEC teams said he was too overweight coming out of high school, just for them to try and get him to hop in the portal during the off szn! Kids going to make him self some money over the next 2 years. Big Athlete that's light on his feet. Everyone in the 205 knew once he got in a better environment he could be a hidden gem.

I did not know that

He's not the only guy on the OL that's been making strides. McCoy looks great. Rivers has finally started to take S&C seriously. Lee has added 15+ pounds (he needed to, he got demolished in the spring). Mauigoa & Okunlola have taken this seriously for years... so has Nelson & Cohen. It's matriculating into the OL and hopefully next year proves we have an entirely different S&C culture.
I didn’t realize Lee struggled in the spring all I’ve ever heard is praise from Mario and Mirabal

Demolished is a bold word to use. Any factual evidence if this? I haven’t heard about Lee getting demolished @DMoney is our center weak?
I think the word "destroyed" is a bit harsh considering his co-starters Cohen and Cooper didn't even play. The spring game (2023) is public. See for yourself.

Coincidentally, I saw him today (no pads) riding a scooter (LOL) to the facility. What a transformation from some of those photos and even from last year. That kid is some specimen. He looks lean and mean and powerful. He is not carrying a lot of bad weight. He has put in work. I have no idea how to critique OL play but he looks like an NFL kid. Seriously, after seeing this kid, I was more optimistic about Mario and the team. If Mario can keep bringing kids in like this that look the part, particularly on the OL, we're gonna be much happier fans than we've been the last 20 years.
