"NC State head coach Dave Doeren announced Andy Vaughn is the Wolfpack's new general manager.

The position was previously held by Merci Falaise from 2021-2023. Falaise will now serve as State's Senior Director of Recruiting. Prior to Falaise, Billy Glasscock served in the role from 2017-2020.

Vaughn, who has 20 years of experience in college football, joins the Pack after spending the 2022 campaign as Arizona State's Associate Athletics Director for Football Player Personnel and Recruiting.

Prior to joining the Sun Devils' staff, Vaughn served as Miami's Director of Player Personnel from 2019-2021 where he played an integral role in the Canes' signing three straight Top-25 recruiting classes. Miami's 2021 class was the best of Vaughn's tenure in Coral Gables, ranking No. 11 nationally according to 247Sports."

How can Mario fill an open position with the guy that he didn’t even have on staff when he can’t even do the defensive line slot?
