Are you kidding? Dan mullens wife was afraid for her life when she walked into publix back when he was OC. Pretty much any of the big southern schools fans make our fans look like nice compassionate fans.

I don't even know why everyone cares so much either. It's not like we were on a championship run and this game meant something to our playoff hopes. We were 2-2. Nobody expected us to do anything. This game literally didn't matter except for giving us fans some "hope".

I know the loss was tragic with how it played out, but ultimately it's meaningless. Leave the poor kid alone.
 
The kid has missed 2 FGs & had another one blocked. He had a shining moment w/ that eventual 55-yard game winner, but it’s a lot of pressure for NFL vets, let alone a true frosh when all eyes r on u to make a FG of that magnitude.

Exactly. Not matter how close/far, that is still huge pressure for a TF kicker.

Because losing gets us further away from the goal. Yall want Diaz out of here so fast so we can higher who? An upcoming guy who had way more success than Al Golden...Like Mike Norvell? Like Scott Frost? Or an experienced dude who has ran a major program like a Gus Malzahn or Hugh Freeze (who gave up 53 points to a Dan Enos offense in his best year at Ole Miss). Are we supposed to poach Mario Cristobal who lost to 2 schools who could compete with Duke? There is not sure shot higher anywhere.

I have no business being an AD and even I could hire a better HC than Manny Diaz.

The goal is to win the ACC Coastal every year, compete in the ACC Championship Game and sniff the Playoffs once in a while. Do that and most fans would be happy after the **** sandwich they've been served for the last 15 years. Diaz has repeatedly demonstrated he's not the guy to do that - he's lost 5 straight to P5 teams now. 5 straight.

I'm not asking for a sure thing, I'm asking for significantly better than this - someone that coaches his ******* players.

You can't say this and then also say that you hope we lose against another Coastal team. I hope we win and I hope we improve. I don't like seeing my head coach play for the field goal, but I do like winning the game. Just like you're not the AD, I'm not the guy getting paid millions to make those play calls, but I'm more ****ed that we forcefully put the game in the hands of a freshman, rather than scoring and having "Manny's defense" prove something to themselves and the world and stopping them for a win. I'm not happy at all with the lost, in the slightest. I understand people wanting Diaz gone ASAP, but I don't understand people enjoying the steps and damage it takes for that to actually happen.

It's more damaging for Diaz to remain in place.
