I feel safe in saying that Andrew Moran will have a bigger impact on recruiting than DJ Irving did.
I could be wrong and only time will tell but I really like this move.

He’s already had more of an impact.

Not sure what your angle is here, but as an assistant coach CY is no slouch. Would be a lead assistant or associate head coach on 99% of Division I teams. Truth of the matter is, CY is as qualified or more qualified than just about any assistant coach in America. I can understand your frustration or disappointment in Jai getting hired but please don't take it out on an over qualified assistant. We should be happy to get CY as an assistant.
