Nah that was way different. This kid is blowing up in April. Eddie Jackson was a 2 star in December when Saban rolled through.

JJ was a late target for sure but he had been a top247 kid since March of that year and slowly rose to close to a top 100 porospect, so he wasnt exactly under the radar.

It’s crazy to me the “usual suspects” in good evals were not putting the full court press on him. When I saw his tape I was thinking UGA and the SEC boys were putting the pressure on him but nothing. Pause

Yeah, i think this was one of those examples where the recruiting services got it right while the programs got it wrong except for us, it happens. His offer and suitor list did not match ranking at. all, oh well our win.
