And So It Begins- eSECpn Can't Control Themselves

doing the math, there is a possibility that we finish as low as 6th behind 5 one loss teams even if we win out.

Uga wins out
Bama loses only to Uga
Ohio state wins out knocking Wisconsin out
Oklahoma wins out knocking TCU and Ok St out
Penn St wins out
Miami wins out

This is the worst case scenario and would involve a ton of anti-UM bias.

I wouldn't care honestly. Finishing 12-0 and ACC champs, likely ranked top 3 or 4 by the real polls, and playing a big time bcs bowl against a team like Penn State would be far beyond anything I could have ever dreamed with our personnel in year 2 of the rebuilding.

That's absurd. There is not any way possible that an undefeated P5 team that wins his conference championship ever gets left out in place of a 1 loss team. Not happening.

Lots of talking heads are already making the potential case against an undefeated Wisconsin getting in. Basically setting up a bar where Ohio State has to keep winning convincingly and then Wisky has to beat them convincingly.

I’m a firm believer that they need to just make a rule against 2 teams from the same Conference and that you must be a Conference champion to earn entry. Unless ind.

The committee head is Kirby Hocutt who recommended Al Golden :stupid:

So you think the Committee head would have a press conference and Say the SEC has different rules?
Somehow I don't think that would fly.

Independents should be ineligible for College Football Playoff unless it’s a service academy.

Until that happens I have no problems with two teams from the same conference making it.

Five Power 5 conferences, One network hemorrhaging cash, with a CEO desperate to show his boss Bob Eiger that the $EC was a good broadcast rights investment, only four spots and Kirby Hocutt in charge...What could possibly go wrong?

The committee's poll does not behave like the traditional polls. In the AP and coaches poll typically voters are reluctant to move teams up unless the a team in front of them loses. The committee has shown in the past that they will completely reshuffle the deck every week based on the current resume of all teams. We will jump the one loss teams and quickly go flying up the poll if we keep winning.

A one loss B1G champ is in. The SEC champ is in. A one loss Clemson or undefeated Miami is in. A one loss Big12 or ND is in.

There is no room for this 2 SEC teams non sense. It's pie in the sky bull**** that will not happen. Let's just stop talking about it.

The SEC championship will be a de facto playoff play in game and will be treated as such. THE END.

That's true only if Alabama wins the sec championship game. But if bama only loss is to an undefeated ga team the committee will never leave bama out of the playoffs with one loss. This is the only scenario that they will allow two sec teams in and i'm 100% sure they will allow it. Even with an undefeated Miami team and undefeated wisconsin team.

If Wisconsin and Miami are undefeated and the Big12 champ has only one loss then Bama is on the outside looking in.

And in every scenario Bama should be the four seed and must turn right around and play Georgia again and that's ******* stupid.

In tonight's Arizona vs. USC Game, We have ESECPN's Mark Jones and Rod Gilmore stating the following:

- In discussing a possible Georgia Alabama SEC championship game, they "wonder" how the LOSER of the game will factor in CFP mix

- In discussing the Hurricanes moving up after the VT win, Jones says "#7 or #8 " and Gilmore states, "I can see that"

Miami is the most exicting and fun team in CFB, but ESECPN is losing money like the Exxon Valdez lost oil, so they are protecting their investment.
