And so it begins…..CFP rankings chat

If it wasn't for our head coach, we would be 7-5 and unranked. Or maybe you forgot about the previous 20 seasons.

Doubt it... considering the millions we have sunk in to the Mario regime, there would have been many other coaches who would have won 10 games every season in the ACC... he has underachieved so far. Hopefully he changes.

Right, just like we were doing for the previous 20 years.

Man if Pitt beats them and they go 9-3 they better not be in the conversation. Heck even going 10-2 they probably don’t deserve to be in.

If Notre Dame is 10-2 we should all be nervous. The committee applies the “it was early in the season against a quality opponent” loss selectively, and Notre Dame is one of the teams that would benefit from that reasoning.

The point he is making is, without Mario, the Columbus billionaire club is not cutting all these checks.

Starting at the 4:30 mark. Pitt leads the nation in YPC allowed. The defense is nasty. Mcshay said ND is the better team and should win, but don’t have a bad day or Pitt can clip them.

The interesting thing about Notre Dame is 5 games on their schedule are either against us or teams we've both played.

-Miami beat them head to head
-They beat NC State 36-7
-They play Pitt
-They play Syracuse
-They play Stanford

The committee could absolutely justify getting them in over us by using the scores of these games as a comparison. Miami needs to soundly beat NC State for a multitude of reasons, but certainly because ND torched them. It's honestly why Mario should have kept the starters in for the end of the Syracuse game. 38-3 looks way different. Conversely, if Notre Dame struggles with one of these teams for some reason I think that'll be huge.

Style points matter.

Here’s what I think will happen this weekend
- #4 Bama beats #12 Oklahoma
- Duke beats #14 Virginia
- Baylor beats #13 Utah
- #5 Georgia beats #11 Texas

What I’m hopeful for
- Clemson beats #15 Louisville
- #24 Pitt beats #10 Notre Dame
- TCU beats #7 BYU

Creep up a few slots and next thing you know we’ve entered the chat!

Wouldn't shock TrumpyCane we pass Vandy tonight and be ranked 15

If Texas/OU lose this weekend we'll be at looking good at 13, maybe Utah gets upset and we get to 12 and then the committee can use their stupid *** reasoning for putting ND in front of us

If Texas loses close at UGA, they may fvck around and bump them up. They definitelt wouldn’t drop more than a spot or two if it’s “close”.
