Analysis of the (Early) Coaching Candidates

The coaching search should be simplified this time around.

Ask Blake James for his "top 5" wishlist....then immediately eliminate each of those 5 guys as a possibility.

You do that and we instantly increase our chances of making a good hire this time around.

Matt Campbell would also be a solid hire. Guy has won everywhere he's been, well-liked throughout the CFB world. Also a passionate coach; the guy looked like a straight up maniac at times against WSU a few days ago.

Bring Butch Davis Back hire Lane Kiffin as an OC and BAM, a winning recipe. And i'm sick and tired of that age talk, Nick Saban is 67.

Nick Saban is 10+ years into owning the sport at age 67. He didn’t start rebuilding at age 67.

Dude is getting pay less than a mil at fau, and is not doing very good, so if you don't think he will take a demotion where he can get paid more and actually succeed than ok. Lane is not a HC but he is a great OC and that's facts.

That’s for the next HC to decide

Just don't know who would Babers bring in as DC? Feel like that's where it could.get lazy and he would keep what we have. Whereas someone like Campbell or even Cristobal will bring pretty much a while staff

It's only been a day, but the one guy that's been scaring the sh*t out of other ACC teams and fanbases is Babers. Nobody wants him here, especially those clowns in Tallahassee and Gainesville.

Butch made the mistake of going to the NFL. Butch has every quality to be a successful college HC. He literally brought the U back from the bottom. Considering the state of Miami football program now, which is not nearly as bad as it was back then, Butch can definitely bring it back to dominance. He put the U back on top, made UNC a respectable program, and has rebuild FIU, so he can do what he did In the late 1990s now. He has the attitude, hes a motivator, hes not stubborn and very adaptable, and with the right assistants I believe he can be dominant again.

Remember way back in the day, when we were hoping and praying that Richt would at least make changes to the offensive coaching staff?

Now we are over 20 threads deep about our next HC. Man, what a f'ucking day! Even my atheist brethren would have to agree, God is good!

it been a double good day for me. Richt gone and Gase might be too.

Butch had more 1st round draft picks than Nick's 10 great years in five penalty restricted recruiting classes. Nick is clearly the best coach in college football. Butch is the only one capable of taking him down.

Dinos offense at Miami? The defense could give up 30 ppg and Miami should still win
