Regardless of his height, with his weight being 265, this is a DT prospect moreso than a DE prospect imo.
Not entirely necessarily. Let’s say the Ht and Wt are correct (both probably inflated), that height lets him be either. Slim down and be a rush end, stay put with better weight and be a strong end, or add weight for a 3-tech. I’m not sure what kinda athlete he is in terms of testing numbers, but if he was a basketball prospect I’d have to assume they’re pretty good

In the first few minutes of his highlights, he wasn’t really exploding off the ground. His dunks were moreso the result of his +++ wingspan imo. Which makes his lifts kinda more impressive.

I’d def be interested in those testing numbers as well….bcuz he lists a 4.7 yard 40 w/ 6’8 265 in his X bio. On hudl, it says 6’8 281 lbs; also lists him as a DT/TE.

I think the weight is less likely to be inflated than the height but i get where you are saying where he can slim down to rush end. It seems unlikely to me that he would not gain weight during college; especially with his frame and strength. Whatever he weighs, he carries it well.

For reference, Rousseau was 6’5 5/8ths and 266 lbs at the nfl combine—and gained anywhere from 35 to 45 pounds after he signed. Calais Campbell 6’7 3/8ths and 290 lbs at the nfl combine.

Still, i think if there were any chance he were going to play on the outside, JT would’ve been the one to check out his spring practice rather than DL. For now, he doesn’t even have an offer lol so nbd.
