I still lean Miami in this recruitment. I think while other schools have and will continue to make moves with Sears, the Hurricanes will be tough to beat for Sears in the end. Syracuse and Texas A&M contenders.

I also think it is more likely than not that he reclassifies up to the 2027 class. That decision is not far off from being made.

Idk if he will be a super star I think he can be lock down though, I dont want to use the word elite yet with him. He will be a good one though, possibly elite. Elite to me at corner is like projected top 10 first DB off the board. I think we got good DBs now idk if they first off the board though, and they have lock down games at times.

He has much higher upside than all the cbs we have. Size, speed, ball skills, athleticism, physicality, cover ability. Has all the tools you want in an elite cb. He is the type of cb that we usually miss on

Then thats a good thing, he did look good in his highlights and Cormani did as well. Again I could be wrong and he is elite asf, I think he is really good and will do well here. Idk about elite though, I want him in the class for sure no matter what I think.

I just don’t understand what the plan is for reclassification besides fantasyland. If he goes to Columbus, he can’t reclassify. Forget reclassifying, he can’t even enroll early if he goes to Columbus! Cc: Bryce Fitzgerald and others

So unless he transfers this summertime, it’s all moot. However, i never see transferring being brought up when reporters talk about his reclassification

No you're wrong they did have a reclassification to a LB from Columbus that went to Louisville . Miami recruited him, forgot his name at the moment. But they did allow him to.reclass

1.) he likely didnt attend columbus for school.

if sears is at columbus for school in person he wont be reclassifying...if heois attending on of the bs online charter schools as likely so... then there's a chance.

He means literally attend the school like going to classes in person. . .. . . Columbus, like other schools within the Archdiocese of Miami, requires four years of theology to graduate. There is no way around this — no online courses or doubling up 2 classes in one semester to get it done.

Some other High schools, even without the theology requirement, have strict guidelines on English, Math, etc that make enrolling early and/or reclassifying impossible.

If Sears plans to find a way around it through an online program not applicable to Columbus, then okay. But unlike Capers, Sears hasn’t attended Columbus yet. Capers was a longtime student-athlete there.

Idk what Capers did to reclassify but it was not Columbus approved.

Your telling ppl their wrong when bryce fitzgerald couldnt even early enroll from columbus just a semester ago to us.

the reason capers could reclassify was because he wasnt attending school at columbus an just playing sports there...sh*t just like @cookies is telling you. It could be the case for sears a well cause he doesnt live near miami columbus so he likely is doing the same sh*t of the random online school during the day and getting to columbus for football practice.

Sears likely doesnt even know what he has to do to reclassify. And just like you said sears has only been at west broward for what two years in broward. so not sure how he would be able to make up the columbus requirements over this summer or why they would even want to just have him for one szn lol

Look gogeta4 you are right about 1 thing it doesn't matter as long as Miami get him we agree with that. But I know tj was a reclassification for UL.
