American Herritage gettin blown out??

New Jersey one ups the Florida HS football model by having statewide all-star teams rather than regional all-star teams. They're basically IMG with established programs and good coaching in place, like STA if STA could pull kids from central Florida in addition to SoFla.

Ya'll just pretend this didn't happen and enjoy the beatdown IMG's going to give Desoto here in an hour or two.

Delray's down from last season, where they reached the state title and lost to TC. They also have a new coach, where BC is one of the better coached programs in the country.

Bergen Catholic is a powerhouse in New Jersey that plays in a league (Big North-United) that only plays against other power house jersey private schools. That league is loaded with very good teams and most of them travel to play OOS for their non-league games. They have a freshman RB that might be a top-10 player (Mckenzie) for his respective class.

The thing about the BNU is that the most talented team doesn't usually win it. Every school spends bread on it's program, which is why they created that super league. Bosco beat a loaded STA last season, that had a lot more "talent". They have wins against teams that don't just have more talent, but are also well resourced.

That whole league pulls most of the best out of jersey and parts of NY and Philly.

Was hoping to see Desoto beat IMG, but after last weeks performance, smh. I can't believe the Desoto coach publicly stated that he thought he was scheduling your normal good FL team and didn't know that IMG was an academy that brought players from around the country LMAO.

Y'all up 7-0.

Don't like the home team gettin blown out but NJ has a squad. Btw heritage delray does well but pulls south palm beach county only and has graduating classes of around 150 total. Real small school

Oxbridge will be cutting into your talent pool.

Nice campus, though. I saw y'all beat AHP, last year.

Barring a huge shock (like beating IMG and Cedar Hill and doing well in playoffs) I don't think he's gonna last long for Desoto. We'll see. His IMG explanation either made him look totally clueless, totally lazy, or a liar. All 3 are bad traits for a HS football coach.

It looks like they're hanging with IMG, I'm stunned. They looked like total *** when Arlington Martin blew them out last week.

16-3 dematha.

Ball goes over the head of the punter for a safety.

AHP had a score on a KR returned for a penalty.

23-22 Dematha wins.

AHP missed the XP with under a minute left. They also had a few td's that were called back.

Nj doesnt have any all star teams... The coaching is better in nj i will agree with. The south florida coaching is inept and lazy and most dont have a clue about football at all ... The talent level is superior they just lack the toughness and game iq
