I met this kid today and got to chat with him for a while. He works out in Lake Forrest where my daughter trains. Legit 6’6” and easily 325 lbs. He’s huge and carries the weight well. Moved from Hawaii to be seen and get recruited. Samoan, Tongan and Hawaiian. Was wearing an Oklahoma shirt. Considering Utah and prefers to stay on the west side. Really wants an Oregon offer. He said Miami is too far from family. Nice respectful kid.

Is Miami even recruiting him? Like does he have a committable Ofer ?

No Miami offer. I was chatting him up about Miami and that's when he told me he prefers to stay closer to family. I asked about BYU and Utah with their Poly pipeline and that's when he offered that Utah is one of the schools he's looking at, but Oregon is the school he's hoping offers.

Spafford's former teammate, so maybe Vance can drop a hint to Mirabal.
