- Latimer has largely communicated with running backs coach Matt Merritt and offensive analyst Benedick Hyppolite. He said both “seem like good people over the phone” and “are really genuine.” He last visited Miami for the Hurricanes’ Legends Camp last year.

- “They tell me every time they get a chance to talk to me how much they want me to get down there and just be a part of the program,” Latimer said. “From what I know, it’s a real nice school. It seems like the players get along well, and they also have the major I want to major in, so that’s good.”
