With Bubba coming back in V tech i think Carter would make our next great striker with Hall moving to strong and bubba playing high free Saftey!

Will certainly be interesting to see how Manny and Co. shuffle the pieces around.

Also hope Bubba ends up everything he’s been hyped to be.

Always thought Carter was better suited for Striker. Great in the box safety - really good blitzer since his freshman season and is physical. I'd be worried about him having to cover a slot WR, though.

I think he plays good enough in space and he doesn’t miss tackles.

When he was recruiting to play at Miami, I just knew we’d make him a LB. Not sure why he’s still at the safety position. He isn’t fast or quick enough to play safety. He would have excelled at OLB. I guarantee you if he went to Notre Dame over Miami, he would’ve been a LB.

he aint starting right away.

Agreed. Bolden won't start his first game (although he will probably get 30% of the reps) and Amari Carter is not being moved to Striker, certainly not during this season. Don't know where this stuff comes from. With getting Bolden eligible, we go from 3 safeties that the coaches are willing to play to 4. Those are not numbers that necessitate moving your 2nd or 3rd best S to another position.

we have a really good striker in Finely and i think Gil is progressing at that spot nicely and will be our starter moving forward after Romeo leave (Which will suck cause he's been our best and most consistent defender the last 15 games). We need depth and good depth at the S position. Don't move Amari anywhere. Let him grow and keep growing into the position.

I don't think Amari is better than Gil at striker so why move him.

I was speaking more of next year or the bowl game i don’t believe amari has the hip movements to be a saftey in the NFL but could make a great stricter in our scheme and he being a senior Maybe he gets a look.
