LmaoIt’s Richt’s idea of motion. It’s one of his cutting edge wrinkles he’s installed to modernize his successful offense.
Go Canes!

Thanks for clarifying, I never understood what they were holding their hand out to the side for. With that being said, I dont understand why we dont huddle. We run out the play clock anyway so we might as well huddle. Most QBs when they go no huddle do this..it’s to signal the strong side of the formation..as far as the RB motion it’s standard..Clemson does it.
Huh? That cadence has nothing to do signaling a strong side. Most QBs when they go no huddle do this..it’s to signal the strong side of the formation..as far as the RB motion it’s standard..Clemson does it.
My boy..I wasn’t talking about the cadence..Huh? That cadence has nothing to do signaling a strong side.
Ah ok u weren’t tallking about the clapping. Dammit I guess I gotta go and actually read what I’m responding to. BRBHuh? That cadence has nothing to do signaling a strong side.
If you go no huddle or “muddy” (which what we do and your referring to) as we called it HS, which isn’t full tempo because your still subbing guys..which takes up time..it’s not that your necessarily tryna no fast..but more your tryna make it hard on the def to identify your personal and get the right subs in for themselves. It’s easier to track and counter subs when a O is constantly huddling..but even when u get lined there’s still your own adjustments that need to be made..but your right we do waste time. I’ll put that in the overall exprience of Kosi but the last 3 weeks he was solidThanks for clarifying, I never understood what they were holding their hand out to the side for. It’s all good lolAh ok u weren’t tallking about the clapping. Dammit I guess I gotta go and actually read what I’m responding to. BRB
I was never referring the clap..was referring to hand signalHow does a clap indicate which side is the strong side? I watch a lot of football games and don't recall anyone else doing it
And that is why everything they do is annoying. The clap, RB shift, everything. If we were scoring 50 points a game, we'd all love that clap. Instead, this O makes my eyes feel like they have the clap. This Offense is just hard to watch period. An if you expect change good luck with that. Richtirement is set in his ways and will most likely not make any.
Yep. I feel like I'm watching our last drive when we are trailing with 6 minutes left.I hate the running back motion from the pistol to beside the qb. Either stay in the pistol or start in the shotgun formation. Plus it wastes time, especially when we are in hurry up, well our slow *** version of hurry up.
Ok so In my defense, u didn’t reply to anyone in your post, so it looked like u were referring to OP and clapping. I guess u were talking about the QB pointing to the defense, which yes, not uncommon. It’s all good lol
Am I the only one who hates and gets annoyed when the RB shifts on every **** play?
Or after every play Perry holds his hand out and waves like the cross walk lady at school?
Well tell that too at least half the college teams who operate with a no cadance snap count..it’s nothing different then what Clemson does..everybody on the line knows the clap Cadance also..but usually on the road we go silentThe way we hike the ball is annoying and puts us st a disadvantage.
Earlier in the year I listened to a UM podcast with former Miami OL Claude Jones who ripped our OL and coaching to shreds, particularly the way we hike the ball.
Essentially, everyone but the center does NOT know when the ball will be snapped. This eliminates any advantage against the DL. This especially hurts on run plays
In addition it completely takes away the likelihood of attempting a “hard” snapcount and drawing an offsides
