Am I alone by LMAO watching Duke cry

Completely agree. Its good to have a Final Four without a Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina or Kansas as one of the teams in it. Great anytime these teams lose. Its amazing that kids feel the only way they can make the league or get a title in college bb is by going to one of these schools. If your good ....your good and you can go to a Marquette (D-Wade) and make the league, a Georgetown (Allen Iverson/ Pat Ewing), a Cincinnati (Kenyon Martin/ Nick Van Exel). a Memphis (D- Rose), a UNLV ( Larry Johnson/ JR Rider) and so forth and still make the league. Schools that won but don't have a real long rich $$$ history ( we know what goes on behind the scenes) but still get to the league or have a legit chance of winning a championship. Same as in college football you don't have to go to Alabama, Georgia or Ohio State as your only chance of playing for a title or getting to the league. **** we (MIAMI) put people in the league even in our down years... while some of these suppose loaded Alabama teams can't even keep guys in the league more than 3 years.

3. K has 2 this decade. Carry on

Bro; The 2010 team didnt have NOT ONE one & done player on it. So again, since Coach K have changed up his philosophy and started buying, uh hem, recruiting one & done types, he’s got 1 title and he was this close to not having that title, but lil Grayson (an eventual 4 yr player) bailed them out

U had me until D Rose. Lol. D Rose was the # 2 PG in the nation and was completely bought & cheated for to get to Memphis. Cal worked his major magic w that one. Lol. But I feel u and agree

You right about D-Rose... I should have used Penny Hardaway instead but you knew where I was going.. I feel you on D-Rose though.

ehhhh...I went to and graduated from both schools, dude. I have a right to root for both...or nah?
Yeah, that’s different. But for the casual fan who didn’t attend both (99%+), it’s just lame. Someone here once put it best, “it’s all about The U” means just that, not The U for football, Duke for basketball, Minnesota for hockey, CS Fullerton for baseball, etc.

Duke 2 FF in last 15 years, haven't won the conference in 9 years. FRAUDS and LOL at some dude taking up for Tre Jones, my freaking college teammate's brother was killed 2 days before and the duke students were yelling racial slurs, calling his brother a gang banger, had signs with the news story, they were making fun of another teammates disabled brother who was an honorary team manager. Yeah they are so smart and classy.

Nothing wrong with that. She was just acting in a role. When the play was over I'm sure she was her usual smart, lovable self.

Our CIS Donkey isn't "acting". He really is an ***.
Did you see this one?

OP was probably laughing at tre Jones who broke down instantly. People don't really know that his mom was diagnosed with breast cancer a few weeks ago and couldn't travel to watch him. The only way she could have watched him was if Duke made it to the final four in MN where tre and his family are from. So that is why he lost it on the court and it's honestly sad that people are mocking him

If that story is true I do feel bad for him as I would for any human being, and I sincerely wish her well...Also I'm assuming you mean that was the only way she could have watched him live...

BUT even knowing that and having some sympathy for him..... I would still root against Duke and still find his tears of entitlement humorous

He's not the 1st or only one I've known or heard of to ever face major tragic heartbreaking problems. Many other players have even more tragic heartbreaking stories...and handled themselves with more dignity and grace. He was blessed to have the talent to play at Duke with a loaded team with probably the greatest college player in decades. He was blessed to win and defeat other worthy teams in this tournament.....those other players had dreams and wishes too.

Perfection for him may have been him continuing on with mom watching...But It didn't happen. Just as it didn't happen for many of the others living with heartbreaking circumstances who never got the exposure and blessings he had at Duke. How many other players even get to reach those heights? At least Duke appears nationally almost every week or two. Some parents never see their kids live, or in the NCAA tournament or on TV. Is he also mad at Zion because Zion didn't carry him further so his mom could see him in the final Four? Also IF it were SO IMPORTANT that his mother get to see him play live he could have opted to play close to home when he selected a college or if he's an undergrad transfer now.

I do understand any players disappointment. But simple fact is....he was NOT entitled to win because of his mother's medical problem, or the fact that she couldn't see him live in the NCAA Final Four .....OR because he went to a loaded Duke team.

As I said, his over the top crying seemed more like tears of entitlement. So YES, I find it unseemly and humorous that a player who only scored 4 points threw such an epic crying fit/ tantrum because HE didn't get things exactly as he wanted.

Coach K lost this tourney. He sat back and put a very Richt like offense on the court. He did the minimal amount of coaching, I've seen from him. He just thought the talent would come thru and save the day once again. He never found a way to feature Cam, who was a major disappointment all year. He made some clutch shots but man he went ghost a lot more. K needs to find balance between one and dones, and talented players who aren't. RJ Barrett loves to kill the momentum of the team, if he's not being featured. No backup PG. No shooters. Coach K always kept a shooter and failed to do so this year. Jay Wright in my opinion is one of the best coaches out there. I think him with the talent that walks in out of Duke, would be a great match. I don't know how much more K has left. He has underachieved a lot.

You'll find at least one player on every team that had to be consoled deeply after losing in the tournament. The tears have nothing to do with entitlement. They are because they put a lot of effort into this and winning it all was their goal, of which they fell short. It's cool you despise Duke and you never want to see them win. Don't make up the BS you just posted to discredit the emotions kids feel after losing. Again, you don't like Duke that's cool. Jones never said that was their trophy and someone took it from them. Also, you mentioned he didn't play well, he understands that and is also prob why he took the lose so hard. Since when is showing emotion a tantrum. You act like he kicked over some chairs, threw water bottles, kicked the basketball in the stands and all that. The magnitude of the moment and loss hits everyone different.

Man, on my mama I wish I could like this comment more. Three of my frat r HUGE Duke fans, and they all agreed that this was by far Coach K’s worst coaching job. To ur point, he was relying upon talent v. coaching. RJ was truly a momentum killer and Reddish got lost in the mix.

I told my my boys, the lack of a bench and lack of shooters will be your downfall. Every Duke team had shooters: Whether it was Reddick, Dunleavy, Jay Will, Scheyer, Singler, Cook, Battier, Langdon, etc, etc, you knew you couldn’t leave someone open OR let someone go to the FT line. This team was all stars, no fundamentals and K just let them play AAU ball.
