Alternative Superlatives

.....I think Blades is slept on as a Corner.

Idk why everyone thinks he's going to be moved to Safety, I think he'll be a big time press cover guy when he gets an opportunity.

You may be on to something here. Good call.

Forgot to add Waynmon Steed to surprise players as well, think he's going to ball out in rotation this season.

I missed this, another good call.

If there was a category for breakout player of the year, this would be in. I think he makes a significant impact in a big comeback. Good catch.

The basketball player? If so, can you elaborate on the comparison? You've peaked my curiosity on this one.

"Most Underutilized- Deejay Dallas"

I have a feeling that's going to change this year!

Most Underrated - Lawrence Cager (if he continues to play with the attitude he showed at the end of the season)
Most Overrated - McCloud (simply because he was so hyped coming in. Just needs to be more consistent)
Biggest Surprise - Cager. If he plays big & with a chip on his shoulder, he will go from underperformer to real weapon
Biggest Disappointment - Michael Irvin
Most Underutilized - Langham (he needs to play with a chip on his shoulder & consistently keep his head in the game. He could do so much more)
Most Overused - Rosier. He didn't get enough credit for the role he played last season. Would like to see the young QBs get some meaningful PT even if Rosier starts every game. It will help keep Rosier fresh for the end of the season and give the young QBs valuable experience
Most Dynamic - Jeff Thomas
Most Versatile - Deejay
Best Hands - Irvin Jr (he's often been reported as having the best hands on the team). Langham (honorable mention)
Best Instincts - Jaquan
All CANE - Jaquan (if he stays starter). Navaughn (honorable mention).

Yes, the basketball player. Smart does everything for the Celtics to the point where you’re asking yourself if he is the best player on the court, even though you know he isn’t.

Dallas is a Swiss Army knife. Definitely our most versatile player.

Most Underrated-Travis Homer
Most Overrated- M. Rosier
Biggest Surprise- Greg Rousseau
Biggest Disappointment- Michael Irvin Jr.
Most Underutilized-Cager
Most Overused- DeeJay Dallas
Most Dynamic- Jeff Thomas
Most Versatile-DeeJay Dallas
Best Hands- A. Richards
Best Instincts- Lingard
All CANE-Quarterman

Most Underrated- Travis Homer (under appreciated for sure)
Most Overrated- unpaid armchair offensive coordinators
Biggest Surprise- Scott Patchan (looking forward)
Biggest Disappointment- all the geniuses who think they know how to call offensive plays
Most Underutilized- Jeff Thomas
Most Overused- “let’s call more motion and double reverses”
Most Dynamic- Brevin Jordan (just wait and see)
Most Versatile- Deejay Dallas (runs, throws, catches)
Best Hands- Darrel Langham (FSU & GT, he’s gotta get credit for the catches)
Best Instincts- Rosier (good instincts on when to give on long runs to Travis on RPOs - it’s not just closing your eyes and handing off - you have to make a read and then a call in a half a second)
All CANE- Lawrence Cager (talks that shlt), Deejay Dallas

If allowed I’d give every answer that didn’t include a player’s name extra thumbs ups.

Most Underrated- Travis Homer
- He doesn't get enough credit for getting 900+ yards with a trash heap of an offensive line. If he started all year he probably would have gotten 1,100 yards. Maybe even 1,200 yards.
Most Overrated- Zach McCloud easy.
- He can't play. I think people are still believing the hype the kid came in with. He isn't good. Another guy I want to add is Derrick Smith. People make it seem like he is good.I don't see it. I've watch the film and he is to stiff to play DB IMO. He was constantly abused in coverage. Slow lateral quickness. Dude better bulk up because his future is probably at LB.
Biggest Surprise- Brian Hightower
- I thought he was the 2nd or 3rd talented Freshman WR and he might end up being the best freshman period. Of course not if Pope doesn't have anything to say about it.
Biggest Disappointment- Nkosi Perry
- I thought by now he would at the very least be neck and neck with Rosier if anything going into summer but that doesn't seem to be the case. We might be stuck with Rosier bois.
Most Underutilized- Jeff Thomas
- You would think with a WR with 4.4 speed we would throw bubbles screens to him? Nope, lets throw them to our TEs instead.
Most Overused- D. Harris
- I know he barely plays but every time he does, drop.
Most Dynamic- T. Homer
His break away speed is dangerous. If only our O-line could run block.
Most Versatile- D.J Dallas
QB, Wildcat, RB, WR boy can do it all.
Best Hands- A. Richards
EZ
Best Instincts- M. Pinckney
Hopefully he learns how to play with his instincts without losing gap integrity.
All CANE- ??

Very unique comparison. I'm tracking with you now. Using your logic, I think Draymond Green would also be a great comparison.
