It's only fitting that the first response was as s'hitty as my thread. I blame myself!

How was Dallas underutilized his 1st year here? That’s a reach. Had a great 1st year for his 1st year

I agree with the fact of him having a great 1st year. However, I think we could have used him a lot more in the screen game, passing game (out of the backfield....think UNC game), and had he thrown just a few passes out of the wildcat, defenses would've had to respect it as an option, instead of just stacking the box everytime he was in the wildcat because they knew he was going to run.

I also think we could have used him a lot more in the return game as well.

I also think that he was in transition from one position to another. Seemed Richt and Co. was trying to figure out how best to utilize him. As the year went on, and he proved his versatility, he could have been used more as you mentioned.

I think Bethel will shock people with his speed, especially on Special teams & I think Blades is slept on as a Corner.

Idk why everyone thinks he's going to be moved to Safety, I think he'll be a big time press cover guy when he gets an opportunity.

Forgot to add Waynmon Steed to surprise players as well, think he's going to ball out in rotation this season.

Got it.
The negative Blades comments/energy from some posters on this board, has always baffled me. He is a straight dawg. He plays with that "Miami Attitude" and is a straight alpha dog!

I can't wait to see Bethel as a returner. On signing day, I remember Hartley mentioning that he thinks Bethel will be an immediate contributer on special teams and specifically referenced him in the return game.

Rumph also had this to say about him as well...
“Bethel can fly. He’s probably one of the fastest guys on the team coming in. He’s a Dade kid that has that chip [on his shoulder]. What I like about Nigel is he knew the situation recruiting all the corners we were [recruiting]. And he didn’t flinch. He said he wants to come in and compete. And that’s the old school mentality we’re looking for.”

Most Underrated- Rosier. Best regular season since 2002 and everyone wants this dude benched because our 3rd string QB looked good against some walk ons.
