so while I was ringside at the MGM Grand, I was getting updates on Twitter. When I saw UM was down 10-0, I got that sinking feeling(again)

I haven't seen the game, yet, and I dont know if Im going to subject myself to it. I dont need to see an actual train wreck to see that it's catastrophic

In the past, Ive tried to be the patient, voice-of-reason guy -- probably to a fault. No more, I want Manny outta here faster than Usain Bolt in the last 50 meters. Sorry, he's not the guy. This staff stinks(I called it a 'clown show' after the CMU game). Yeah, Miami has beat some decent squads this season, but sometimes it not about who you beat -- but who you lose to.

To quote Malcolm X, when it comes to Diaz and his false bravado: we've been lied to, hoodwinked and bamboozled.

Anyways, what a KO by Wilder, right!?!?

Wilder K.O. was a masterpiece. Knocked the sweat off of buddy. Hollywood pays alot of money for that kind of effect, and CG still couldn't come close to what we saw last night. Lethal.

Need that Fury rematch.

I had Wilder down 6-0 in rounds but all he needs is 1 punch 🥊 to finish you. Spectacular power. Wow. The crazy thing is the 2 punches he hit Fury with to lay him out with in the 12th round were much bigger than the one he hit Ortiz with and it’s out of this world that Fury was not only able to get up from that combo but win the remainder of the round once he did! I thought he was dead! I have so much respect for him. But I think Wilder KO’s him in the rematch in February and hopefully unifies belts after that against the Joshua-Ruiz winner......BOOOOOMMMBBBB SQUUUUUAAAADDDD!!!!!

Don’t bother watching the game. Go outside and enjoy a nice Sunday in LA. If you’re in town.

His power is unreal, I mean, that right hand is demonic, it makes up for a lot of other mistakes he makes technically. I called it the 'eraser'

Wilder when he launches that right hand correctly is akin to a 220 pound Tommy Hearns

Here's my column on last night for ESPN:

good article.

Wouldn't Wilder be even more dangerous if he would at least neutralize his technical weaknesses?

Or by doing so, would he diminish his right hand attack?

thing is, he's 34, he is what he is at this point. And he got a late start in boxing, so he was always a bit behind in terms of establishing his fundamental foundation.

At this stage, the last thing you want him to do is to complicate the process and have him over-think in there, in my view

Go, I have to say, Im actually tempted out of morbid curiosity but then, it's the holiday season.

Why ruin that?

I was at the Keys for a wedding. I am watching and in the end of the 4th quarter. If you want to see FIU dominate and out coach our staff for yourself, watch it. It’s unbelievable.

lol, I feel as though you are torturing me with this post. Seriously, I want to see just HOW bad it really was/is

It’s like watching a train wreck. I still don’t believe my eyes.

Bad bro. They were better prepared, better coached, hungrier and played faster. Tony Gaiter’s kid tore us up. The game was way worse than the final score.
