I can overlook the Miami bashing while at Louisville or the trash talking before Bama game (infamous Teague strip) but the FIU garbage is indefensible. He sounded like a fool.

Man that did immeasurable damage to this program, its one thing to have swagger, but swinging helmets and the comments made on a televised game for everyone to see and hear who already hated the program for winning. It played into the stereotype of "Thug U" like it was on steroids. Coker had no control whatsoever. I didn't bother watching them again till he was gone. Its why Florida can have a TE who likely started his career as a serial killer in G-Ville, but they still think Thug U is worse.

When people on here complain about the Administration - think about this clip, Shalala sure did. That's the origins. They weren't having that ever again and have hired accordingly. **** they may a short seminar on expectaions and make the new coach watch this clip before he signs on the dotted line.

Then 2010 happened with Shapiro and they were calling for the death penalty. That's a huge underlying reason why Miami has been Miami since.

I don't disagree, but you're fooling yourself if you don't think everyone would have hated us anyway. Yes they use stuff like this against us, but they don't even bother most of the time. It's just understood that Miami is full of drug dealers the way water is wet. It's just a fact that needs no proof.
