Alonzo highsmith

The only real position Zo could have would be to run Mario's evaluation department. Essentially he would be tasked with leading a department that reviews tape of recruits and feeds quality players to the football staff. He could also further evaluate targeted players to identify the next Mark Pope. Basically the director of recruiting.
this is where my thoughts are, too. Let him take charge of that whole department and get it set up the way he and Mario want it. Including provisions for evaluating transfer portal kids separately. Director of Talent Acquisition or something like that...

I wouldn’t be surprised if he really wasn’t making that much with Seattle. His title is Senior executive advisor to the GM.

Could be a temporary role (1-2 years) and pay may be relatively low.
Alonzo is not coming cheap. He is in 500k neighborhood. This is based off of what Dan lambert mentioned in an interview. He said Alonzo isn’t cheap and he was prepared to commit 1mm to pay Alonzo. It seemed to be a two year commitment.

You could have him report to the AD if his responsibility is more facility related. Basically to manage the vision and development of new facilities onsite that support football. That said, his wheel house is personnel so I think you put him over recruiting and have him report to Mario.

Yes under those circumstances he would report to the AD (or maybe even an assistant or an associate AD), but I don’t think that his skill set is in facilities management. Do you?

I am sure he knows his way around a NFL facility and expectations around around those programs but his talent is with personnel, at least that is what his job duties have been.
