No way! I saw Butch Davis at Koo Koo Roo in ‘98! What a small worldI saw Dan Marino in Winn Dixie around 1997.
Feels good to get that out.
It's my Rembrandt.I can’t wait!!!! @djnellz @WOOOORicFlairVoice @gordonsolie you guys are in for a treat when @Baba Yaga breaks open a new level of genius.
Have you missed the trend on head coaching & AD hires recently? As soon as Blake and manny are gone I will definitely relax
My point isn’t that the staff is full of former guys..point is thers not a policy that excludes Ex Players from being around..as I said those who want to help can reach out. Players have to also be receptive. There’s former players who talk to the staff and some of the playersGood God, this is your idea of former players being allowed access - 2 guys who are on staph, 1 guy who’s on the BOT and a couple others.
That’s like the 8% who voted in my poll for Manny getting the remaining 2 years on his contract to show what he can do - saying Manny has support amongst fans when 92% said get him and Blake the **** out of here.
The approach that worked in the glory days is not gunna work today..CFB is not the same broif that's the case it doesn't matter who you put in charge. I am not one of those that excludes a candidate simply for having played football or gotten his degree at Miami. That doesn't make sense to me.
What we need is a guy that understands football and would also understand how a successful program is built. Those are things that remain constant regardless of era. If that person is a "Miami guy" all the better.
If it is Zo, he does have a vision how that can be done because he understands how it works and has worked. Miami is a pro city with a very competitive market for entertainment dollars. If you want to have a successful program and put butts in the seats you need a good and entertaining product. You need to keep our local talent from leaving to other programs to create this successful product. You are going to have to spend money for competent coaching to recruit and develop that talent, etc.
Miami football is not like other traditional programs so we need another approach that understands how our success was built. I think Zo offers that approach.
They serve food there? How were the wings?

Been saying it for a while, whether it's Manny, or the next coach, the infrastructure needs to be completely overhauled and upgraded. We need to operate like the top 10 teams and just don't. I like the analogy of the Marlins budget and Dodgers results, it's true. We have expectations that just do not match investment. This goes to support staff, SC staff, analysts, PT staff, etc....it's probably a ground up rebuild and hope those looking at the program realize that. It's beyond just the coach.
If Mario comes here and loses a Coastal game he has no business losing, Miami fans gonna rip him a new one. FIFYIfin Mario come hear and lose a Coastal game he has know bidness losin, Miami fan gonna Miami fan and rip him a knew won.
Looks like he’s trying to convince Joe to let him give Blake atleast an atomic wedgie and swirly before kicking his *** out the doorTalking to Joe Echevarria there….hopefully about the changes that need to be made
Miss that Mac&Cheese at the Roo.No way! I saw Butch Davis at Koo Koo Roo in ‘98! What a small world
While I don't agree with his comment you're light years off your rocker if you think a thing about the Black experience is soft. The softest thing going in today’s world
That def wasn’t a frmr player on the sidelines pre-covid….it was Realus GeorgeThey can feel that way about a guy they’ve probably never met lol..and that’s fine..but that’s not all the former players. All I’m saying is the idea that manny has said he doesn’t want former players around his players or the staff is flat out not true..there’s former players who communicate with the kids and coaches..the ones who want to do it..then there’s some who are the loudest and haven’t been around the program in years. And that’s fine too..btw you’d agree the rift between the program and SOME of the former guys started wayyyy before manny.
Listen to Zo on the OBB pod. He def sold me.Man I’m in the crowd where I want a complete outsider to be hired as an ad. Zero ties to Miami. Need a new voice and perspecrive. We gotta move on from the past
I once met Calais Campbell ( holding that in for 16 years)I saw Lamar Thomas at Spirit Halloween several weeks ago.
(sorry, I've been holding it in for 2 weeks)
He has former players on his staff..and like I said bro I know for a fact some former players communicate with this staff and the players and have open communication ..and I’m not saying your wrong. The guys u know probably do feel that way..do you listen to Kelvin Harris pod at all?

I’m not gonna get into a war of words with a social justice warrior You are fishing. Good luck hooking someone else my friend. While I don't agree with his comment you're light years off your rocker if you think a thing about the Black experience is soft.
And that’s my point..it wasn’t that started under manny..and idk the backstory. Like I said there’s always 2 sides. But I know for a fact SOME former guys have direct contact with some the staff and playersTheres been a slew of former players on the YT circuit talking about this. They aren’t allowed on sidelines or practice except at a distance. They are allowed in the facilities at times, but only with an escort… which is an obvious insult.
They are made to feel unwelcome. This isn’t necessarily just a manny thing either. Blake has not wanted them around at all.
