Let's be real

If we're honest with ourselves we'll admit that its NOT limited to the SEC. The rest of our nation's schools are also infested with people with this same disease. Maybe not as much butt they are there

This is NOT a Southern disease like some like or want to think. YES there are degrees of having this condition but to the person affected by racism its all the same. Whether its overt or whether you get a light sprinkling of it.

Its like the common cold its everywhere, maybe not as many, and some are just better at hiding their coughs and pretending they aren't, or are only racist occasionally, but that doesn't mean its not around.

It's even up here in the ultra liberal Ivy League.

For the love of me, I can't figure out why these people are Miami fans. I guess it's the same mentality as these Alabama fans. "I'm okay with black guys at our university as long as they're only there to play football".

This is a **** good point. I stay out of political discussions on here and other Canes message boards, but I follow them, and what I've seen is a large number of Canes fans downplaying racism and it's impact. Nothing but excuses many say. Recruiting though? Different story. smdh
