All of this is true so it is difficult to blame Al. He called the admins bluff and he won. He is not walking away from a 6-8 mil check and neither would any of us.

Not at all I just am pointing out that the real blame lies with the admin. Al is just a symptom of the problem.

Besides Golden being a terrible game day coach, starting a true freshman quarterback and expecting to have a good season was a fail. When was the last time a team in a power 5 conference started a true freshman (not redshirt) and had a successful season? Kaaya may be the next great Miami quarterback but he is 6-7 so far while playing on an absolutely loaded offense. I like the Kaaya, but he shouldn't have been playing this season if we wanted to compete for a conference title.
The school went on the cheap with Golden expecting to get a coach on the rise. What they got was a coach that had already peaked and hasn't improved since he arrived here. He can blame the sanctions, which definitely hurt, but he is in way over his head for this Miami market that will boycott a team or try to burn it to the ground if it doesn't win. I agree that the hate against our team, coaching staff, and trying to turn recruits away needs to be toned down. It should be directed at the Admin and BOT demanding better performance for our team moving forward. Where we are at now is not acceptable and they need to know that we will boycott if this **** does not improve and we will not cheer for a championship program that is not committed to winning ships.

Kaaya was the top rated passer in the league. Since when does that equate to losing a bunch of football games?

At some point you have to look in the mirror and re-evaluate. Golden is **** POOR at making adjustments in a game let alone his scheme. I've given up caring as much. It's my team, in my city, and will never stop representing. However spending my hard earned money to fly and put money where it is not well spent, sorry.

I don't want to get into a debate about Kaaya and how good he is because I like him as a quarterback. But you know **** well that the QB position is more than stats. Name me some True Freshman quarterbacks that have led power 5 conferences to conference championships? Maybe there are some running quarterbacks, but pocket passers, I can't. Putting Kaaya as our quarterback to start the season and expecting us to compete for a title was straight up nonsense. It was a build for the future. That's why I think they are giving Golden this next year, and why some of our upperclassmen were ****ed off at Golden for sacrificing this season.
There are many reasons why we are 6-7 but this is one of the main reasons and it's the coaches to blame.

Can't believe people actually blame "the freshman QB." golden chose "the freshman QB." You compensate in the other two phases. Instead, we had inept special teams and a top 15 defense that didn't win any games.
