All In

I am in.

I hope he works out. Our D has been good, and would wear out because of the pathetic offense. This will change now.

Key is who he brings in for Offense and QB development. Plus an actual QB.

I think most importantly of all, Manny should know how a Miami team should play. Every game.

Hey, any hire comes with risks. We know Diaz and he has been the bright spot during the Richt era. I remember many here liked the Golden hire and that seemed safe. I am a U fan and have been my entire life, therefore I like the hire and the fact he is cleaning house already. We've had great hires that were suspect at the time but won championships and hires that can't miss that struck out. This is a new era, especially with respect to the state of Florida football competition. During our great years we had our pick of talent as there was no FIU, FAU, So. Fl, UCF or so many grabbing talent we used to routinely pickup. The pickins have slimmed down since our glory years and the reality is we won;t see squads again where the backups are better then the teams we meet. Diaz is fresh, exciting and I love the U and I love the choice. I wish Butch had stayed and not gone to the Browns, plus JJ left us for Dallas. I have a tee shirt that has a picture of Howard and his smoking pipe that says it takes "U and me" that the next day after buying it he went to what became a defunct alternate pro league. Howard had it all in his grasp and could've been the next Bear Bryant so I am used to success and failure with the U. But it has been one heck of a ride and I will remain optimistic but realistic and always a fan of the U.

As with every New coach, I'm all in. And I'll be realistic on expectations of a first time head coach.

I think diaz will make a mistake or two as he is a brand new head coach and he will be grilled for it, where Richt was 15 years in. But that's the nature of the business, we'd rather have the young, hungry, and agressive coach rather than the old coach stuck in his ways

Diaz was left with a sports car that just needs an oil change (OC). He needs to keep it running and ritde to the top of the ACC
