This season is officially over. There is nothing left to play for this year, so let's play for the future. This team has a lot of problems, but we can solve one problem, just by figuring out who our best Qb option is going forward. Please Old Man, do one right thing this year, and use the next few games to find the best Qb who is in the Roster. Your idiot son already screwed up the chance of the best Qb option possibly being a new recruit. So we are stuck with what we got and it would be wise to really figure it out now.

The best QB on the roster is Rosier. In other words, in 3 years they have failed to recruit and/or develop a QB as good as the worst starting QB in P5.

Jarren Williams is the best qb, they aren't going to burn a season for this mess.
 
Problem sorta is defining "best" QB. Rosier clearly has the most maturity, discipline, hard-working and studying attitude, reads and preparedness. Possibly best scramble and smarts. The others all have better mechanics, but lack a lot of the "other" things. And it's not even clear that they will gain what's needed given many many games of trials and tribulation. Certainly taking snaps in practice and camp didn't achieve a helluva lot.

Could be very very painful months ahead, and not even clear that a different coaching staff from top to bottom would straighten it out quickly and easily.
 
This season is officially in the crapper, so let's use the games left to get some data on the QBs who have eligibility beyond this year.

Isn't Weldon's suspension up? If so, let's see what he's got. And, Williams should get some exposure too.

With new red shirt rule Williams can play two remaining games of season (including bowl) so no excuse to not give him a shot to see what he can do.
