Enjoying a win and being happy about improvement does not invalidate criticism of prior performances. That criticism was earned.

Coming off a 7-6 did you really think we'd be "dominant" did you really think our recruiting would be top 5 or something? The entire staff has been earning there checks. What your saying now comes from small steps to get **** right. Your not going to go from 7-6 to National champs it takes time. We have the right staff just have to get more depth so we can close teams out strong instead of having to play starters so much

The issue with your hoe *** criticism is that it is being taken out of proper context. You're implying that all losses are the same. They are not. Nor do they occur for the same reasons

Homie did you read my message? I basically agreed with what you said. I didn’t think this was a one year turn o round into national champs.
However you can’t deny some of the early coaching issues. 9 sacks in a game and your not going max protect? There have been some ugly issues that happened. Losing to a 1 win GT team at home no less. That’s a tough one.
But, you can’t be a front runner. You have to stand by them because if you don’t, they won’t be able to have success on the recruiting trail. So I always say you give them two years, at the end of two you start judging the coaching quality unless there’s a glaring issue (special teams cough cough). Then maybe you make a move early with a position coach.

Read the guys post. He says it all but that's not good enough for you is it? You have to keep trotting out the whole "So you're ****ed we won" mantra because you get off on it. Give it a rest dude. Everyone is happy we won. We're all Cane fans here. Hard core fans many of us. That's why it's not all sunshine, rainbows and lollipops when we lose and the first half of the season was brutal. I'm a straight shooter. I'm always going to give criticism where is it due but the flip side to that coin is that I give props and respect when and where it is due and Manny Diaz and staff have earned their props for sure. They have done a tremendous job of keeping this team together and getting them better. Now would you please just let us guys here enjoy this without being some insufferable I told you so superfan? It would be most appreciated.

Seems different.

Miami has the QB it has needed. Miami’s Oline gelled enough. Skill players have always been present. 8-4 seems very likely.

More importantly, next year looks very bright. Excellent foundation. Tweaks with a few impact recruits and we jump to 10-2. I have been impressed with Diaz evaluations.

We then get on a roll for several years
 
Good win. Lets enjoy it.
Now before we go throwing a championship parade lets see if we can sustain it show consistency abd continue to build on it.
Something that has eluded us for 15 years

This is how I feel. I am not happy about 6-4 but Manny has adjusted. He got more hands on with the defense and it has paid dividends. The team is improving. My main problem in the past has been excuses and lack of accountability. Even if there are mistakes made, as long as Manny is accountable and doesnt make any excuses that goes a long way with me.
