Hey, I'm doing better. I went from seeing 90 days until kickoff to 68, or whatever it's at. That's progress!

Seriously, though, I don't even know who we are playing week one. I'm getting there... Another crap season and I might kick my habit.

I love the dedication to thinking you will stop and I wish I could do the same but every year when it gets closer I get sucked in. It's a sickness

Pretty interesting look here. This dude has broken down a bunch of data and determined that Junior talent is the best predictor of success. Has us with the 7th most talent in the country as far as rising juniors. This is the COVID class Manny signed in 2021. The Taylor, James Williams, Kam Kinchens class.

Thing with this is it’s just talk lol we don’t really know if any of it is true. TVD wasn’t handed nothing if mario thought he was a problem he would’ve aggressively pursued other options, how tf can we say he bailed on the team when he literally sat and waited while mario took forever to hire another oc after hiring one that hurt his stock? Is that not loyalty? He helped recruit the top center out of the portal too is that not trusting the process and being locked in?

Also with the connecting with the wrs how much connecting did rambo and harley have with tvd?? He should 100% be tapped in with his guys but if the mfs are good it will work, they dont need to be close they don’t even need to work out much together. If we all understand the offense and the coach is putting us in the right place that other **** goes out the window because then it comes down to are u good enough or not and the reality is last year gattis was terrible and mfs were not good enough man

This is interesting and it doesn't include transfers so eventually it'll add Davonte Brown, Tyler Harrell, Anthony Campbell, and Francisco Mauigoa.

Literally every metric used to determine a team's talent level places Miami much closer to the top than the bottom yet we're supposed to believe that this team was somehow bereft of talent and Mario needed to do a complete 5 year overhaul of the program.

the bull**** that is fed to you is unreal. the real thing is that the coaching sucked and both players and coaches quit on each other as a result. we arent bama or uga but we are better than 5-7 and play a schedule that isnt remotely difficult especially with the talent we do have and the supposed elite coach we hired to get you to 8-9 min on average even in a bad year. fact is, we should be closer to a 10 win team yearly w this crappy ACC schedule (we play in the easier division too).

And that's just how gullible people are. Mario quickly started blaming the players to defend his job. The homers fell in line and will just repeat his talking points until they have no choice.

The same people defended Manny after losing to GT, Duke, FIU, and La Tech.

Sad thing is, Manny would have won more games this past year.

I'm tired of thinking this team should perform and then watching them fail miserably. I do think that TVD has talent and should be able to prove it this year but I have no expectations other than to wait and see this season.

I agree with you but I want to know what your thoughts are on what should have been done. I don't think anyone is "happy" with the QB room.

Mario tried to bring in 2 QBs in the 2023 class. One that was highly recruited and top 10 at his position. And another that was supposed to be developmental. We all know how that went.

Then the question is after signing day, do we bring another TVD or higher level (was there anyone better than TVD in the portal?) player to replace TVD? If that happens we have the same situation because TVD probably would have bolted. So do we bring in 2 backup portal QBs? Which serviceable QBs that entered the portal wanted to come to be a backup?
