You better believe what is going on here has some to do with UF canning Muschamp. They can see we aren't to far from firing Golden and they are smart by getting rid of Muschamp first for first dibs on a good coach.

If they hired Butch Davis, THAT WOULD BE A MAJOR BlLOW.

I am with you but if they fire Muffcramp I dont see them doing anything but trying for a big name coach like Patterson at TCU or Jim Harbough or someone well known. Butch, while it would be a smart hire, would not be a big enough name for the UF fanbase.

Oh, I think he would. U*** took a serious *** whipping at the hands of Butch in a Sugar Bowl as I recall. And I'm sure they do as well.

This is correct. Apparently, a felony investigation is involved. In addition, there is speculation that UF may have played him while ineligible on Saturday. But that is just a rumor at this point.

I see your point but that was 14 years ago and I just dont think Butch is relevant enough or big enough in recognition which is Foley's style as an AD. Muffcramp sucks but he was a splash hire at the time getting him away from UT as their coach in waiting.
