All-ACC selections

Derwin James received a vote for defensive player of the year??? It's time to take control of the awards away from the media... **** is trash.

Dead @ James over Johnson.....lmfao

McIntosh, 3rd team.....fire everyone of these voters

My exact sentiments! Thee Big Mac should have at least been 2nd Team All-ACC! It just goes to show U, that the ANTI-Miami sentiments still ring loudly in the ****** wood, redneck ACC! dUh.:puzzled:

Jaquan's in running for the Walter Camp POY and has won ACC Defensive back of the week for 3 weeks. Yet, we're going to give it to Derwin James because their own bat **** retarded fan base said he was the 2nd coming of Sean Taylor.

Right! Give it to player on a team which finishes 6-6. Instead of putting JJ on the 1st Team All-ACC/DPY. Go figure.

I admittedly don’t know jack **** - including how to evaluate defensive tackles.

But on these boards and on this all-ACC list, I just don’t get how RJ is not getting more love.

He dominates games. He lives in the backfield. He draws double teams. What more does he have to do to earn some accolades?

UM should seriously consider leaving this conference.
Just for the biased refereeing alone, but this^... Cmon mane.

RJ wears the Orange and Green. Thus, the lack of respect from the conference and ACC media hacks and what not.

That's what I've bloated upon for the past two or three seasons. The PAC-12 would be a good fit, but the frequent flier miles to the coast is a problem and what not. Also, playing at midnight EST wouldn't be ' kosher ' for Miami and it's fans. hUh. Nevertheless, the Big 12 would probably welcome Miami to their conference. Because the Big 12 is not only competitive in football. It's competitive in both men's basketball and baseball. And the travel logistics wouldn't be a problem for Miami. Seeing that Miami fly's to Pittsburgh, and Syracuse and Boston on occasion.

Congrats to Coach Richt on being Coach of the Year!

He had to win the award to go 10-1 with the amount of obvious scrubs he is coaching. Well, according to that pathetic list. Two years ago that list might be about right with the lack of Miami players, but not today. I hope our players take a hard look at this list and come out mad as **** against Clemson. What an abortion of a list.

I'd agree, we're not getting quality treatment with the ACC - you could see it with the lack of holding calls along with the all-american votes. This is merely a small sample size.

Unfortunately, where would we go? The SEC would never allow Miami in, because that depends on UF and if they would allow it - they wouldn't (Spoiler alert).

We don't match the Big 12, geographically and they seem to be hanging onto a thread. The Big 10 would be the only other viable option.

We're not leaving the ACC though.

We should at least float the threat of leaving. I'm sick of the ACC. I can see why they screwed with us while we were going cheap, and not giving them what they thought they were getting when we joined. We didn't exactly hold up our end of the deal. But now? They need to start treating us fairly, or we should consider going somewhere that will.

I get it. Unfortunately the buyout from the conference is massive, and they do payout fairly well.
