Big fan of 44 and 87 needs more quality reps.

Mostly fixable but it seems like OL leadership and limitations of LG need to be addressed in a definitive way.

I still think if they brought in a legit portal center, RR would be fine at LG. Doing both jobs (snap and block) is too much for him. But he would've been a good LG and backup C. One player would've fixed 2 issues

He would start at tackle for us, which would immediately make us better at guard.

Same thing I been saying since Stanford. #65 should not play again. #66 has potential but needs to stop getting his weight forward. #76 is questionable.

We are just wasting reps on #65 at this point. Same garbage we saw from him at FB. Get Woodrow, Cantwell, Congdon, or Pickett in the game now.

This is as big of a problem or perhaps even bigger than some of the OL issues. Because if we don't have decent, well-understood depth in our zones, this becomes WAY TOO EASY for better teams. Wake has some good concepts and decent timing, but a more talented unit puts entirely different pressure on our defense.

I think that's Toure on this play having zero feel for depth and not understanding route combinations. Had he dropped with a less panicky approach, a good coverage defender there is in position to cut off that pass for a pick 6. Instead, he's closing a window that is both low probability and our defender has leverage anyway.

This happens repeatedly on our defense and especially in the middle of the D. I haven't watched Part II, but our guys are moved around easily by flood concepts and trips. Frustrating because even halfway decent coverage here likely ends up in a sack. A defense works as a true unit. One dude gives the offense a full out.

Route combinations?! LOL.. We have a guy playing keionte spot (who was always in position) playing closer to sideline flats that the actual corner on plays for TD.. We dont teach route combinations i dont think, we spot drop, just get to a spot and stand.. no reason for that if we not pattern matching, country cover 3 is just be a cone..

You may be right that we spot drop because I don't see evidence to the contrary, but there is no way Toure is spot dropping into the ether there. It looks like he full on panicked.

The heck is he doing that deep with a corner on top of the WR and about 10 feet from him? This happens in all sorts of ways. We have to figure something out or the "bad teams" (overconfidence) we think are going to lay down are going to get easy yards.

Toure does a 360 at one point, almost falls over, and then tags a guy after he's out of bounds. He looked like my granny after hip replacement and a bottle of champagne

I would assume you played DB lol.. I have never seen our LB receive and carry a route runner thru any zone, they may drift watching teh QB eyes but they just take a couple steps back and stand there, they never look for work, they dont pay attention to any routes.. That the reason Lofton is green tree all american and everyone thinks he is better than he is probably..
