Best of luck to him.

Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse reportedly added a second quarterback to its 2014 recruiting class Sunday night when it received a verbal commitment from Hialeah (Fla.) High School's Alin Edouard.

CuseNation.com, a Syracuse football recruiting website, first confirmed the commitment.

Edouard is rated as a three-star prospect, according to 247sports.com's composite ranking, which pulls from each of the major recruiting services. The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder decommitted from Miami last month.

The commitment is not binding until Edouard signs a letter of intent in February. It also brings the total number of verbal commitments to 15 for Syracuse's 2014 recruiting class.

Edouard is the second quarterback in the class, joining A.J. Long, a three-star prospect who has been influential in helping Syracuse recruit.

Guessing that our old friend George McDonald was looking at him last year when he was here. Glad he's sticking with one of our coaches. :stormwarning:

He did the same thing with Bristly Estime.
yeah) Saved his *** after the mighty fail of poor guidance. I truly felt bad for Iowa State and N.C. State after they treated him with class, and he acted like a punk. Lucky for him, unlike Keith, he was so well liked. Lastly, I hear the LOVE him up there. He's the oldest freshman I can remember. Hopefully that brings emotional maturity as he gets away from old friends. I think he would have been a VERY solid slot/CB here. imho
