Can't wait for this roadgrader to make it down here. I'm sure he can't either. O line is looking great for the future.

Need him to develop quickly over the next year. He could be in position to play a relatively key role on the 2014 OL:

Flowers/Mcderm
Isidora/Gall/Wells
Mcderm/Knighton
Feliciano/Darling
Bunche/Gadbois or Sonny

Unless I'm forgetting someone (per usual), we really need a swing guard in 2014. Regardless of his talent, I don't feel comfortable throwing Darling into the mix as a true freshman. I suppose Bunche could slide inside if need be, but that would mean Gadbois or Sonny would have to really step it up so that we don't downgrade that position.

I really like the way we are recruiting the OL right now. Gall should redshirt and put on some more bulk and be ready for some minutes in 2014.

im pretty sure Courcy75 has a picture of this kid hanging on his ceiling.

LMAO. I'm no expert but Gall is the interior version of Flowers. He's going to raise eyebrows from the drop.

Eek. That's a big claim. That's basically saying he's a freak prototype, ala Cooper (UNC) or Warmack (Bama). I'd like gogeta or courcy's view on what they've seen from his limited film. He struck me as having average feet compared to those guys (which is only saying he's not a complete weirdo).

Only thing that is up in the air for me is basically every time I've seen Gall its at RT. I highly doubt Uheplays RT though he is a better RT prospect than Darling right now.

I was lucky enough to see Gall a bit more than highlights because he is closer to my area. He isn't a 1sr round LT talent like Flowers but in a few years I think we are looking at a kid that's a second day draft pick at guard. When I say Flowers I mean that Gall has that ferocity and the love for the dirty work like Flowers displayed in high school. He's going to surprise some folks.

2 years from now, it shouldn't matter who the QB or RB is because the OL should be so stocked that any QB could sit back there and pick apart a defense and any RB could run through those holes opened up.

This years should be also, I'm just not sure about next years since we'll be replacing some good ones like Linder and Seantrel.

Gotta love the OL recruiting. Cue up the DL recruiting response in 1...2...

Great stuff in here. Well done gents.
Hahahhahaha

Pretty comfortable with my evaluation.

I'd say you are one of the few that kept it level headed in this one.

But you've always been someone that is level headed.

In real life, OL are incredibly difficult to project. Plus, it's not a position I know well, technically, so I defer to the guys I mentioned in 2013. I just look at their feet and the likelihood what made them good before will continue to be an advantage. For Gall, what stood out to me was that he seemed like plodder who won on strength. For some of the older guys, think Tyler McMeans' recruiting video vs his actual play at this level.

We'll see if he can somehow become a serviceable player here. He has to get a ton stronger.
