Alex Collins finally signs with Arkansas

While this appears to be a good sign, I'd be leary of a kid that only comes here because his mom wants him to.

Mods, since this is likely gonna last a while, can we make this a candidate to merge with Paranos's thread.
 
This might sound crazy, but here goes. I'm thinking the staff wanted Gus in the worst way and in order to secure him, they wanted Alex Collins to do just what he did and is doing.
 
Man, I really hope this works in our favor.


Collins was the biggest miss of the recruiting season, and the only guy who could have helped us next year.


I think after his family did some Due Diligence they realized that they had been lied to about what a **** academic school Arkansas really is. Collins seemed like a really smart kid, despite his full ****** decision, so I would imagine he would gives a **** about academics. He has to know that running backs blow their knees out all the time.

Just heard on the sileo show. Supposedly AC was crying at school. Moms came with a canes shirt and hat. Tifwiw
 
according to sources, he is literally crying his heart out because he does not want to attend Arkansas. his Parents showed to console him with U gear on. His Mom is refusing to sign his LOI to Arkansas, because they really want him to attand Miami. Stay tuned for more details.

Disagree, this kid's coach and mentor has been in his ear and pushing his agenda, now he has had a chance to talk to his family and may have changed his mind. This is a kid you take no matter what.

I hold no bad feelings whatsoever toward Denver Kirkland. Obviously being pressed by BTW to go against what he initially wanted. Golden gave BTW ammo, but ultimately it's obvious what the score is here.

They always want to be here once they get here.


Miami is one of the top 5 football schools in the country to attend as far as coming away with an actual education, connections, and friendships that border on extended family that last a life time. Only if you end up being Kyle Wright or Lance Leggett bad does any of this **** backfire on you. We simply have coaches putting poison in these kids ears.

Collins appears to be waking the **** up at the right time.
