Exactly. At the very least its added depth and experience to the QB room. Something we could use regardless of whether he blossoms into a starter.

This is a great pickup honestly. Ppl are just overreacting thinking the QB search is now over.

It's not, we're still looking and targeting others. Puffenburger is just added depth with potential as he's produced at the FCS level.

Nothing to hate about this pick up. Ppl can hate our overall QB situation rn, but thats a separate topic.

Why? Its still an upgrade from Albany. Plus maybe he has confidence in himself that he's good enough to win the starting job. May not be likely, but its probably more realistic than Ward's confidence in himself that he's ready for the NFL.

He may not pan out but 1) we’re not done in the portal and the kid is okay with that 2) production at QB spot is important and I don’t think Emory or Jacurri comes close to doing what he did if they played for Albany last year.
