Alarming quote from Ferman in his Wedn. Update

James and Manny will go down together, hopefully sooner than later. Sadly the limp **** BoT will hire another incompetent AD and we'll repeat the cycle continuously until we become completely irrelevant and the ACC boots us. We'll then beg C-USA to let us in, but FIU will give us the finger and veto the move. Hopefully by then I'm either dead or senile.

I think they go down together more often than you'd like to know.

Blake and Manny are betting that this new OC will the job done. The odds are against them. Either Alonzo comes now or next season to help BOT get right candidates for HC. Which there’s only three imo Luke Fickell, Mario Cristobal, or Josh Heupel.

Understanding how the BOT has reacted thus far and the lack of accountability Blake has received over the years, it makes perfect sense no one including Manny wants Zo. Power, control, arrogance, and fear dominate the mindset of these folks. The metric that is important for the those in a leadership role over the athletic department (BOT and President) are ticket sales, academic ranking, matriculation rates, national perception, and donation. IMO you are seeing a masterful pr spin hoping the true fans like us will fatigue and the apathy will be replaced with hope maintaining the status quo. I hope I’m wrong but I’ve become so cynical.

No one should be surprised the people in charge at um don't want Highsmith. They probably remember what he said in the U documentary. He said at other schools if they had won as much as miami did in the 80's and early 90's they would have built statues and monuments in appreciation but miami did zip.Zo knows how little this school cares or respects their accomplishments and they know he knows too.

Alonzo is an alpha dog. No bones about it. Just look at the video of the coin toss back in the day. **** manny didn’t even play college ball and he never had to struggle I’m assuming with his dad being who he was. Blake I don’t know his story but I doubt he played football. Both those guys would rather be comfy then great

“There is a prevailing opinion that they dont want a strong guy like Alonzo coming in and stirring things up. It's literally Riviera Country Club. “

We’re so ****ed.

Just a confirmation of what we already knew.

From the BOT, to Frenck, to Flake & Strawley it's a cesspool. Some of the press is finally waking up and shining a light on the Hecht sewage. The Hecht's criminal saboteurs need prosecution for wire fraud. The Hecht needs SANITATION, it's occupants FIRED.

Not sure where you have been for the past decade or so but we are already irrelevant.
Also there is no contingency to dismiss a school from the conference because their football team is mediocre or even abysmal on the playing field. (In the old Big East the only way to get kicked out was averaging less than 15000 ticket sales per game over a 3 year period).
Given the equal revenue sharing amongst the conference schools the BOT has no fear on that front

This is a potential issue - Highsmith is asking for certain powers that are vested with Manny through his contract including, but not limited to, hiring and firing assistants, coordinators, etc. Giving Highsmith what he is demanding creates a legal issue for the University. Trust me, I want Zo here as much as anyone, but it isn’t as easy as people think.

I'm sure Blake played with balls at some point.

By then Mario's buyout will likely be tripled or quadrupled by his contract extension come 2020. And I'm not a believer in Heupel, it was all Scott Frost who built that program up.

PR doesn't win football games. Our opponents will expose failure. The ACC will move to get rid of its dead weight.

No competent OC will come near this cluster**** of a football program. Corches only need apply.

You speak with tremendous authority on Manure’s contract. Can you post those portions of Manure’s contract where UM agreed to give him full authority to hire and fire assistant coaches?
