Out of all the upsets, I was shocked seeing how Alabama laid a massive egg
Yeah they didn't just lose but were absolutely embarrassed by a very mediocre Oklahoma team.

Offense had:
3 points. 3 INTs.
164 passing yards (6.1 yards per pass)
70 rushing yards (2.3 yards per rush)

Defense gave up:
260 rushing yards (5.3 yards per rush)

Yeah, but they beat the snot out of Mercer the week before so shouldn’t drop much.

Didn’t know which Bama thread to bump to post this - but I found this pretty **** funny!!!

It’s funny but it’s not the real reason bama needed to integrate
Alabama won the NC in back to back in 1964 & 1965
Then Bams went undefeated in 1966 beating three Intergrated teams including the #1 ranked team but was left out of the top ranking by northern AP voters who refused to vote for an all white Alabama team in protest during the civil rights.
Notre dame was awarded the NC instead so that’s when Bear Bryant scheduled the USC game on a down year purposely starting true freshman and suspending multiple stars for the game to lose on purpose as he knew the tide would never win another NC unless he could convince the BOT he need to integrate.

Alabama is turning into a poverty program.

I stand on bidness.

Really gonna start pushing SOS argument about getting these 3 loss SEC teams in
I’m waiting for the argument on ESPN that all SEC teams should be in.

“After all, Phil…the conference is by far the toughest in college football. Is it really fair for non SEC schools to even be considered for championship play. I for one welcome a playoff that encompasses the SEC in its entirety, and exclusively too. Because these kids..,these coaches…these fans…they all just want it more. And after all, isn’t that what college football is all about?”
