ALABAMA VS AUBURN

Are we rooting for Wisconsin to win or lose?

Doesn't matter.

Win the ACC.

We haven't gotten a holding call in our favor since the FSU game. If you think we won't get screwed even if we win the ACC you are naive. It's Miami against the world. We need all the help we can get and still win the ACC.

So again. Is it better for us if Wisconsin wins or loses?
We dont need anything from Wisconsin

A loss from Wisconsin wouldn't hurt, might help if Alabama loses by a field goal and the committee is stuck between us and one loss bama (we would still be in )

Actually Alabama losing by a field goal only will help them and hurt us, Auburn wins this game and the sec title they are in.

Seriously. It's like people don't pay attention to the narrative this year.

A 1 loss Alabama whose best win is a 3 or 4 loss LSU and without a division title or a conference title is not going in ahead of ACC Champion Miami.

I want an Auburn win.

That would be the worse situation for us. Alabama probably wouldn't even drop out of the top 5. If Clemson loses today the ACC ain't making the playoffs. If the argument is Miami or Alabama don't even kid yourself.

Its not Alabama or Miami.

Its a P5 conference champ with a win over the #1 team.

Versus a team that didnt even win its own division.

Lets win next week and then worry about it.

Remember when Alabama made it to the national title game in 2013? LSU won the division. Yet Bama got in over Oklahoma St.

Even if Auburn wins it’s so hard to beat the same team twice so you could have

12-1 conference champ UGA
12-1 conference champ Oklahoma
11-1 conference champ (Miami or Clemson)
12-1 Bama
12-0 Big champ Wiscy

Who doesn’t belong? Bama only gets in if Wisconsin loses

You'd be surprised. They'll compare Clemson's loss to Syracuse or Miami's loss to Pitt with Bama's (potential) loss to Auburn (who may win the SEC title). The committee has been changing the narrative weekly to justify their rankings.

There was no playoff then. No playoff committee.

Bama beat LSU in the title game in 2013 after losing to them in the regular season. You guys are really naive to think ESPN and the committee isn't trying to have 2 SEC teams in the playoffs.

A lot of it relied on AP and Coaching rankings which the BCS used as part of its formula.

Miami's resume with a Clemson win on it is infinitely better than Alabama.

Their best win would be against LSU, which lost to Troy. In fact, Troy was more impressive than Alabama in their game against LSU. No way they should get in, but you have to have that gut feeling that says an 11-1 Alabama team gets in over an 11-1 ACC champ Miami team. We'd have more quality wins, by far, but you watch. As soon as this scenario plays out, it'll be all about "quality losses", not wins.

I don't disagree. Blow out wins over Notre Dame and VT is nice. Whether it's a close one or a blow out against Clemson would be impressive. I'm just trying to tell you what ***WOULD*** happen over what potentially ***COULD*** happen are two different things.
