Their OOC schedule next year is FAU, Campbell, and FSU.UF is never playing us again![]()
And people thought this year's Pitt game was cold.this exactly will hurt ND more than anybody (if the ACC ever kicks them to the curb like they should)....nobody from:
ACC
B1G
P12
SEC
will want to schedule tough out of conference games when they already have 9 in conference games and 1 or 2 other annual rivalries..
Clemson has a 12 year deal with ND.. that means they have:
9ACC games
1 game against SC every year
1 game against ND
Only gives them room for 1 additional game
I would agree to sign a long term deal with ND but only if it was for the last game (rivalry weekend) every year.
How are they getting away with playing 2 fcs schools?Their OOC schedule next year is FAU, Campbell, and FSU.
It’s all circular logic at this point. Without real non-conference games, nobody can pop the bubble that every SEC matchup is a “playoff game” or that Big Ten teams are somehow built different.
We’re about to see SEC and Big Ten teams stack easy OOC wins, stumble to two losses in-conference, and still sit at the top because all their losses happen inside the bubble. Perception does the heavy lifting.
And with no real cross-conference data, the narrative writes itself: “Sure, Bama lost twice… but those were SEC losses to Miss State and Vandy. That’s basically one loss in the Big 12 or ACC.”
